Opening Address
First I want to thank all members of the Independent Alliance who voted for me in the PP race, you guys are great! There's no doubt we've got a lot of work to do as we've fallen off in terms of membership, but if we put our noses to the proverbial grindstone, we can make it happen. I do believe this is the first month the IA will be led by someone other than a founder, so let's do 'em proud.



Inter-Party Relations
I know in the beginning of IA there was some hostility between our party and some others, most especially New Era. This was precipitated because of our founders (Hugh and Klurr) relationship with certain members of that party. I am announcing here that I am hitting the 'reset' button on all party relations. I am bringing no baggage whatsoever into this term as PP. I don't think these personal squabbles help the UK in any way. That being said, if you're being a dumbass, don't expect me to sugar coat things. I learned from a very prickly individual in eCanada and I like to mimic some of his style. I'll call a spade a spade and wont hesitate to throw in a sexual innuendo while at it.



Upcoming Congressional Elections

I've already sent PMs to the presidents of the Top 5 parties asking them to detail what they can offer IA in terms of slots for the congressional elections. I would like to note that I am diametrically opposed to any 'congress exam' being a caveat for space, but ultimately our membership at large decides who and what they want to go with, so if it is a requirement from your party, by all means, include it.



To members of the IA if you are interested in running for congress this month, please send me a PM detailing why you think you'd be a good fit, any past experience etc. I want it known that EVERYONE will get a fair shake, so even if you're a noob, please explain to me why you think you'd work well. As you all might already know, we then put it to the party to rank who they want to represent us.



I'll be continuing the media fund, so if you are an IA member who wants to start their own paper, but don't have the funds to do so, just PM me!

Conclusion
Well, that about sums it up for me, let's have a good month, a fun month and as always don't forget to praise WayneKerr whenever possible as without him I wouldn't be the man who I am today.
