Today, I woke up to see the following article:

In that article is written "lets hope our CP can negotiate and get PM soon.".
My jaw...it is disconnected. I'll never be able to eat again...
The fact that I have to explain this is sad on so many levels. If you paid attention to eMalaysia recently, you'd know that we have a terrible Congress. We are plagued every month by PTOers, Medal hunters, 2-clickers, and people who just don't care.
However, being down to one region gives us a golden ticket. Currently, only having one region allows us to elect 10 members of Cognress. We can find 10 active people. But, if you look just one row down, you'll see that two regions raises the number of Congressmen to 20.
This, it should be quite clear, we can't handle.
So, I say let Singapore ATO Peninsular Malaysia, and have their 20-man Congress which they may/may not be able to fill with good Congressmen. They wanted to keep Peninsular Malaysia, so we should be neighborly and let them. Meanwhile, we'll build a nation with an active, powerful Congress.
tl;dr: Getting Peninsular Malaysia back would be bad.

it is not just for oil , it is for our honor ,our neighbor should respect to us and our country , do you know how much is good for our economy if we get back PM ?
our food and grain are falling and we dont have enough workers , we need get back PM
and about the congress we should make people more active , not just leting whatever our neighber likes do with us without any explanation to our people , it is time for them to show their brotherhood

When have I ever said Malaysia was important to me? I have never been in the country, nor (hopefully) ever will. I do like to stress logic and reason. Honor and respect don't mean squat unless its foreign relations, and without a congress, you really wouldn't have a say in it.
Besides, Egypt > Malaysia
we need PM for our economy (not just honor)
our workers are in PM
if pm back then request for goods will increase and also the number of workers will increase ,

Take PM, then lose Sarawak. One region is key for keeping your congress. With a good congress then you can expand. Follow Pakistan's example after BETA

Not to mention Harjariyan, we aren't time wasting. We agreed we'd hold PM...not to mention, if you bring it to honour, Singapore should definitely hold PM, as we have let you live. It is our honour we hold our ground. One could say we should crush Malaysia because they disrespected us, but we don't.
Plus getting PM back won't give you a good economy. You're done over by Fruit, the only way to counter this is to raise taxes heavily now, bring back the MYR and spend lots of gold doing so, but >may< make a return in the future...distant future.
Like the Singaporeans in real life, I doubt their sincerity in these 'talks'. They have elected a CP that has declared to keep existing regions. What would his voters say if he gave it back to us through talks voluntarily?
Yes Fruity brought us into this mess and eSG has benefited by getting PM but there is nothing to stop them from keeping PM. Why should they give it back to us?

i know we can not have 20 active congressmembers but we can have 10 blockers(i can soppurt it) and 10 active congressmembers easily with 2 city . does it solve the problem ?
i think if you have logic you (all) should accept my words or have a good reason to reject it

if we have fully sabah and PM back(which never happen now).
we can have + 150% customer, citizen. while company number remain same. same productivity but high demand~

about PM, well, its not bad for us to have 20 congressman. it would lessen the power of voting where many congressman will needed to pass the law. but this could happen if, we got a solid evidence that we can provide enough blockers to let true, active eMy citizen to become congressman. if not, we have to stick with 10 man congress.

So 10 real congressmen and 10 blockers? That's the plan Hajariyan? What about the other 20 required since we have two parties? Can you provide all 40? We'll already be having 10 congressman and 10 blockers, so I believe completely that you can get that many. An extra 20 on top of that, I've got some doubts about that.
Contrary to apparent popular belief, I don't think I know everything. Do I need to explain how easily PTOers can take our country with 2? I usually know why I publish an article yes. Yes I know how much demand for food dropped after loosing PM, that was to be expected. Does no one in eMY know what an MT is? I see a bunch of comments about getting PM back because of the citizens trapped there, but no one attempting to move those citizens to Sarawak instead. Gov't program anyone?

No indeed it does not, those 10 blockers could be very unpredictable when it comes to voting. I'd rather just stick to the 10 active congress members part and forget the 10 blocker congressmen.

Yes its true that the bonus from having oil would help the economy, but would that one positive be worth the negatives? As for demand, see the above comment about MT's. I'm also happy to start working for an MT company for cheap if the owner agrees to use the product to help bring citizens to Sarawak.
How about we RW back PM after the Congress Elections. The Singers can keep the Congressman gold. It's a drop in the bucket compared to how much they already have. Meanwhile, that's not gold in the pockets of PTOers who would take half the congressional seats in Malaysia if we got back PM before the Congressional elections.
^Now that is a good suggestion, that I think eSG might actually go for, that pushes off the potential PTO for an extra month and allows us to gain the resource bonus back. I sort of doubt that eSG will go for it without something extra though, it seems like they enjoy keeping it.
I have messaged almost everybody (especially newbie) about the need of Q2 MT to return to Sarawak. Active ones had replied and were given the ticket needed to return. I can't simply send a Q2 MT to everyone though, if they don't reply xP

i thought we want to discuss with logic to decide what is gooo for Malaysia , but i see that you can not understand what i am saying (or maybe i can not understand what are you saying ) so this discussion can not help to eMalaysia and i am not going to continue it . i tried to explain it simple , so every one can understand why i am saying how much PM is important for us .

Yes they will be back, in fact 10+ active ones are back before the 2nd NE/war with eSg. It will be easier for them to come back after peace is passed too
Hajariyan, there are currently two political parties within eMalaysia.
Currently, we need 10 Congressmen, and 10 blockers. Not only that, but we need to be able to ensure that those 10 Congressmen can actually beat the blockers (Proip-we can't).
Why, then, should we make it so that we need 20 Congressmen, and 20 blockers? that would make it even harder to ensure that those we want will get into Congress, and will risk another month of a terribly inactive Congress.
Additionally, with TeMing's above comment, any argument about needing the people in Peninsular is null and void. Everyone active (I'm sure a lot, if not most of the two clickers as well) got out, and is now in Sarawak.
The harsh reality is that our food industry got a large boom from the war. More companies were created then would *ever* be needed. The market is undergoing a self-correction, and some companies have to fall. It's capitalism.
How many days to take to get back to Sarawak? I think its already 3 days passed, i still can't back to Sarawak. 😣

Hajariyan I answered all of your questions with my opinions, all my opinions were formed with logic. You believe PM is important for our economy and I agree it would make a difference, but I'm saying that the negatives outweigh the positives right now. If you don't get that or don't agree then fine, I can't think of a simpler way to say it and I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
As for the PTO part, I think nicholas described it better than I did.

Level 7 is required in order to move to different regions, however since eMY and eSG has a war now, we cannot move to each others' region until peace is signed. It will be over in 12 hours time
