Malaysians, I am running for Congress with the Parti Kemajuan eMalaysia, in the region of Sarawak. I am proud to present my official Congressional platform:

Activity

I believe activity is an integral part of the ability of the Congress to be an effective governing and legislative body. I have been one of the most active Congressmen this term, and spearheaded the Congressional Efficiency Act, which was voted into law. It provides a framework for both Congressional discussions and voting.
What I plan to do

This next Congressional term, I have two large programs in mind. The first involves the selection of a Congressional Speaker, whose job is to, well, speak. The Congressional Speaker will notify Congressmen weekly of the events that took place during that week via private message, will also communicate to the people (via an article) what happened in Congress that week, and will alert Congressmen when an important discussion/vote is taking place.

The second large program involves tackling the beast of un-regulated Government spending. We currently have in place no guideline, no budget, and no accountability for where our taxes go. I intend to propose the creation of a monthly budget for all Government expenditure, and to require the Minister of Finance to give the Congress weekly updates as to the financial status of Malaysia.

Lastly, I hope to help in the drafting of peace between Malaysia and Singapore next term-it's clear that no side can win, and it is rather pointless to continue to endanger South-East Asian regional stability any longer.
