Day 3,530, 09:59 Published in Bulgaria Bulgaria by Maggy Vasileva

[Българската версия - в предишната статия]

Hello, eBulgarians.

After the presenting of our Blacksea's cities, I would want to present you several German cities. I am starting with Hamburg on oproposal from 1Peacekeeper1

A qoyout: "One of the most beautiful cities in Germany is definitely Hamburg. You can have a look at the habour, the "Speicherstadt", the Alster, the "Michel" (It's the highest church in Hamburg with a great view above the city) and of course the new opened "Elbphilharmonie". But there are many other places to see in Hamburg as well, the famous "Reeperbahn" or the "Schanzenviertel" (It's safe again after G20, but better don't come here on the 1st of May 😃) where you can party or just visit many different bars."
I didn't translate the explanation in Bulgarian in order not to make a mistake, but maybe I will make a paper only about this city, after learning more about it.

It is a time for some of the cities, which I personally really like.

Berlin

One will notice the good infrastructure of the capital. Principally the prices of the tickets for the public transport are not small, but with the metro you can go fast and comfortable everywhere.

If you want to see the all landmarks in Berlin, you will need more than one week. Most of them are well known, so I will not list them. I had just 2-3 free days, that's why I decided not to plan anything, just to pick a random direction with the metro and to go out on the first landmark I know. And this was not a mistake - I enjoyed the atmosphere without to run from place to place.

Here is the place, where i felt the freedom. Man can do here sport, to go for a walk with the kids, to drink a beer with friends - everything you want. It's not so much like this in front of the Representative chamber in Sofia, right?

There are 2 zoos in Berlin. I visited the bigger one. Principally in the city there aren't so much signs in English, but everything is made in such kind of way, that you can easily orientate, even without to know the language. This time I knew only ~10 words in German and I didn't loos myself even once. Well - I lost myself in the zoo 2 times 😃 - it is so big. And it deserves to be visited.

Oh, yes - Alexanderplatz. I went there, because I was informed, that close to it there are a lot of landmarks. And... Going out of the metro - I saw the atmosphere there and I decided, that this is my place! And I sit there to drink 2-3 beer. A good music, interesting people, street musicians from different countries... Those a few hours there are one of the more happiest in my life!

Köln

Really beautiful city on Rhein. Their most famous landmark is the Cathedral:

The old city is a beautiful place. They are saying, that there the beer is really good. Unfortunately I could not try it, because I was on a business trip there, but this is only a reason to visit the city again. 😉

Koblenz

Its name comes from the latin word confluence, which means a place, where 3 rivers are coming together. And this is really like this - Lahn, Rhein and Mosel - 3 rivers, so big like Dunabe are meeting each other there. Majestic! One picture from Rhein in Koblenz:

The weather there often is rainy, but the people there made the city to look like a heaven garden - with so much flowers - it is really beautiful!
The most important landmark there is the German corner (Deutsches Eck):

One of my favorite places there is the garden in front of the palace:

When I came to live there, normally the locals asked me what I liked there most. I always used to answer, that I am feeling here like at home and I really mean this. After this, I understood, that the moto of the city is "Eine Stadt in der man gleich wie zu hause ist."...

Well, I will not translate my tips to the e-Bulgarians - most of them are how to pay less money, when they need to travel and not to brake the rules. But I will translate the most important tip:
1. The people here are really friendly - don't hesitate to ask them for help, if you need it.

I want to thank to all Germans I met here - you are the reason me to feel here like at home!

100 tanks are going to 1Peacekeeper1 because he respond to my asking for the city recommendations.
