Hello Once Again Readers,

The Activity Update!


Defining Social MU – A word that has been created, I think, by The Activity. If we didn't create it then we represent it and will re-create it. But what exactly is a Social MU?

I was trying to make some sort of criteria but got bored and decided that I will try to explain it in as few words as possible...

A Social Military Unit cares about and prioritizes social aspects as well as developing a web of members who mutually care for each other.

Where have we progressed so far? – We have two great sets of players right now. We have newbs who actually fight often, and some we've even got into irc. They are supplied food daily too. 😁 We also have a group of experienced and meta active members who wish to be apart of this movement. Together, we currently deal around 700 Opponents a day resulting in rank 26 in eUSA. Not bad so far. We also have our own IRC chat (#theactivity) come join and idle with us today! 😉

Where do we go from here? – This is a hard question to answer because of the sheer amount of possibilities. The very next to be worked on will be getting an application form and a process set up to open the MU to prospective applicants. Right now people just join and bam they are in.


Let me briefly describe the two processes that I wish to be used to handle new members!

Members who join without using application
We won't ignore you! The new recruits will be mailed every Friday to welcome them. Some information will be asked and given resources and guidance in the game/meta game. If they prove to be communicative I will hand them off to our Education Leader (Mercurius100). This method is mainly used for new players.

Members who join using the Application
Will be mailed asap and given MU information and guidance in the game/meta as needed. Pretty much I am expecting Meta players to use this method, which would be preferred.

You will be able to be as involved as you want in The Activity. Just depends how much commitment you want to give, the sky is the limit! It is all up to you!

If you're looking for a change or want to get involved in something new (and awesome) consider joining us. We've just started and the community is already great. I LOVE all of our members.


Last but not least let me introduce The Activity's 2nd in command and director (The Original) Fawkie.


Fawkie has shown great promise and commitment already to a budding organization. I have no doubt he will serve our community (The Activity's and eUSA's) well and with love.

Our next article will feature leadership positions which are available and who is running which.
Some positions include Recruitment, Retention, Financial Asset Management, Forum and IRC Management, META and Activity Director.
