The war against the eUK is over. Apparently Congress disagreed, but the fact is at this point we have lost initiative and are on course for a wipe if we do not even attempt to organize a resistance. The election begins at day change and Canada has the opportunity to end this war before it gets any worse.

We originally raised taxes to build a reserve for defense, during the last terms we spent a great deal of those funds on our wars. If elected I am the only major candidate committed to stability and rebuilding. Chance wants to start useless training wars instead of repaying our allies for their help by providing them our help. Rylde is Rylde, and he will do what he does best, stir up a fight. The truth is the last couple of months have left us without the resources necessary for fighting another pointless war or continuing our current pointless war.

If elected I am committed to ending our current war on our terms so that we can attempt to rebuild. We had our fun, but now it's time to act responsibly and begin rebuilding so that we can continue the fun at a later date. This is our only real choice at this point.



Alliance shifts that were expected didn't occur last term for mostly two reasons. The first reason is that wars started last term made shifts nearly impossible. Canada's war with Pakistan and the subsequent attacks by our enemies combined with Aurora's strike on China reinvigorated the current alliances a bit. The second reason the shift did not happen is because of the Epic Warfare tournament. This tournament made shifts impractical and then pointless. The fact is people have lost interest to the point of not caring.

I have been criticized for wanting to support the rebellion, but the fact remain that our true enemy really is Plato. Whether it's Canada, Serbia, Pakistan, or the US; those of us who invest time and effort into this game have to change our game to keep people interested. We must focus first on our communities, and then we must make it hard for Plato to make money off us. This means these pointless wars must stop until Plato is willing to discuss this game with us. Without war there is no money to be made, and without that money Plato must listen or the game will die. This type of effort will not take long, but if we want to continue playing this game we must force change. This will require Canada to reach out to allies and enemies to make this rebellion a global force.

I put off my participation article in order to touch base on these topics. Later today I will be publishing that article, my last before the election.
