[CP] Election Victory and going on the Warpath

It was a fun close election but of course winning it makes it more fun. In the end I managed to kick my party as a whole into actively voting for the first time in 6 months. Its not very often there are 3 solid candidates to pick from.
I ran on a platform of firing all the super friends which I now call the ruling council of CPF and there satellite party Tems dirty carpet. They have ruled with peace and tranquility for 8 months now and it has suddenly come to an end.
I quickly realized if I fired them all I wouldn't have much of a reliable cabinet. So even if its advice I don't usually agree with its not a bad thing having a pack of devils advocates on hand. Nothing can stop the drunk button pushing.
Oilers
Its been a decade of darkness for the Oilers and there finally going to the playoffs and I'm thrilled. My daughter Ashlyn wasn't even a year old the last time they made it in and that's sad. Over they years when she was old enough she would ask me "Are they good yet dad"?
I would reply with "No not yet, they suck".
She would say "Its ok dad one day they'll be good".
That honest little conversation really took place as written about 3 years ago. It has always stuck with me that my team was so bad that my 8 year old was trying to cheer me up after seeing me watch my losers for years.
I don't care if we lucked out with Connor Mcdavid. I don't care if we pissed away so many first round draft picks. Its in the past and its playoff time. Win or lose I'll be happy on the couch with a case of Rickards for atleast 4 games.
War and Airstrike
I've already begun the process of looking for a real war with talks in the cabinet. The super friends were not lying when they said options are few and the targets available are above our weight class. That hasn't stopped us before so i'm game if you all are. I'm shooting for 2 weeks from now at the latest to get this party started. Gives me ample wiggle room incase it takes time to gather funds.
Food and CC Donations
First off we need to get the airstrike loaded before we can get our fat asses off the ground. So if you have an abundance of food laying around donate it to the airstrike fund. Were currently at 14%.
All you bastards have had 6-8 months to sit back and build up money with no real war so its time to hand some CC over if you want to go on the war path. I am of course talking to the old fags of the nation with nothing left to save up for.
Were now a small clan that will need CO's to press any offensive we undertake. It sucks but its just a fact of life now for us and has been for sometime. I don't really care I just like seeing Canadians on the march.
I really want to go to war and I also want to win so help make it happen with some cc donations. Load up on the double bars when the sale is up if you can afford them as they will be needed. I plan on it.
