[Bamber4CP] A government that communicates and supports activity

The title says it all about what I want us to achieve as a government if I’m elected as President but it doesn’t show how I want to achieve it which is why I’m writing this article so let's get into it all.

-MoHA-

First and foremost as most people would assume a lot of this is going to be reliant on the Ministry of Home Affairs being active and aiming to keep a meaningful media presence. This is best achieved through a regular recurring series of articles based around competitions and games, these also of course have the knock on effect of creating a bit of fun for new and old players alike.

We are currently working on having a MoHA, invites have been sent out but we would rather get the MoHA right rather than right now.

These games will also be accompanied by an idea I stated in my inital article whereby I believe we should be treating the media module in the same way we do the military one, with some financial rewards for those who have been contributing in a positive way to the community through their media activity. We will be having a weekly competition for the best article of that week which will be voted on by the people and rewarded with a prize.

And for another little added bit of fun I’d like to re-launch a weekly lottery which was famous under the eccentric and now edeceased MoED Aecio Neves45.

Leading me on nicely to the matter of the Ministry of Finance which will be headed up by the reliable money master Huey George once again, who of course will be tasked with doing all the wonderful articles and work he already does as well as providing a small budget to the MoHA to cover the prizes for our competitions.

-MoEd-

We will also be having a return of the Ministry of Education, it’s important that we don’t just have articles and programs aimed at having fun alongside the game but also we work at helping other members of our community improve within game as well

The obvious choice to do this was of course Madelina de Melrose who has been the director of the NHS as long as I can remember now, she has focused on helping new players with other projects as well. This is definitely not a new position and is another place where we can be certain one of the most experienced players is in the right place.

-MoFA and Communication-

It might seem a little odd to talk about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs when we’re talking about driving up activity and communication, but we’ve seen a lot of variance in what it is the MoFA does with their media output and the levels of it of course.

This month the MoFA will be headed by Sir Humphrey Appleby with Madacaion as his deputy. We’d like to try a slightly different approach and we will be trying to organise an article swap with other nations. We will create a simple template for an article about a nation which we will fill out for the eUK before swapping with other nation’s versions to be published here.

We’re hopeful this will be an interesting way to see what goes on in other parts of the eWorld, how other eNations see themselves and how they see us as well!

-Discord Drive and Quizzes-

Finally I also want to encourage more of our citizens to use discord and to get chatting on there, if that’s for your MU, political party or just the general UK chat and to do this I want to bring competitions into the euk discord channel such as a quiz night.



-Get Involved-

So now you know quite a few members of the cabinet and what we will be aiming to achieve but there is still plenty of room for more to join us and get involved. I want this to be the most inclusive term we’ve had and one which shows exactly what the eUK is capable of.

That can only be done if everyone that is interested applies to work within the ministries. Whether you want to run some competitions, get to work with our allies, help the ministry of defence with war efforts, write articles and round ups there is a place for you
