The Death of ATLANTIS
In several statements made today by the powers-that-be of ATLANTIS, the alliance is now dead.
The decay started on day 540, when ATLANTIS threw most of their resources into a massive
offensive against PEACE, which failed. Now, this was not enough to destroy the alliance. What
ultimately destroyed the alliance as the Swedish-German crisis. It is with tears in our eyes thatwe
say goodbye to ATLANTIS.

What Comes Next
So, after the death of ATLANTIS, what comes next? I am sure that the once members of ATLANTIS
will create a new alliance that will be to destroy PEACE, just as PEACE was created to destroy
ATLANTIS. It is also possible, however, that PEACE will dissolve as well. With its purpose
accomplished, the major powers of PEACE will most likely begin fighting each other for supremecy
of the eWorld.

Boy, I would hate to see onetime allies like Hungary and Indonesia go to war with each other. Oh, wait - no I wouldn't. As long as Greece remains free and strong, PEACE members can fight each other until none are left. I personally hope a new alliance can rise from the ashes of ATLANTIS - not specifically to take down PEACE, but for countries to protect each other from PEACE. There would have to be measures taken to prevent things like the Sweden-Germany crisis from happening. But with a more centralized leadership, I think such an alliance just might be possible one day.
