Moments of tension in the Swiss parliament last night

The congress was shocked after the sudden AS proposal of the CP against Greece. At the same time the congress received a message from the MOFA that ask the congress to hold their vote untill new order. The AS operation was to be supported by some allies.
During few interminable minutes, waiting for updates from the MOFA tension in parliament rose.

Congress members didn't accept the lack of information by the MOFA that justify himself citing reasons for military tactics. The congress felt ignored by the government but was still waiting for the AS order.




Finally the MOFA didn't find enough support so came to congress and ask to vote NO to the AS proposal. At the same time he communicated the resignation from his role.




For the second time in a night the congress was shocked!
So the congress started a new vote to refuse the resignation. The lack of information was not enough to loose a good MOFA.
The CP also talked to the congress (after some drinks) and ask to everyone to calm down.
