ALLOW ME TO GROW, DON’T CONSTRAIN ME TO MY PAST.
We live in a world where we’re all chained to our past, aside from ourselves, we also chain others to that story we know about them.
We know that Mr. A is best for a particular project execution, but due to that very part of him that is known to us, we bring him to naught. We’re quick to commend others, but also very quick to sing our praises. The greatest error is most people aren’t given chance to prove their worth in life because we keep them in chains of their past. I have seen people speak ill of their fellow simply because he is doing well despite his many frailties. Remember no one heals himself by hurting others.
There truly is a saying that goes thus “Life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forwards.” So, allow me to grow, and don’t constrain me to my past.
So, my dear trying to correct past errors, please do fight hard because it is better to die fighting to correct the errors of the past than to live a prisoner of it all the days of your life. But in all lift high your head and don’t let the many ill speeches you will hear bring you down again.
Truly, humans are not perfect but we tend to work toward perfection.
