[Poem] Ubi tu Gaius, ibi ego Gaia
Rabbit of Caerbannog
Dovunque tu sia, io sarò
Wherever you are, I will be..
You just need to close your eyes and count 1, 2, 3..
Remember me when you hear Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio,
How we both sang while waiting to enter Zadar, we were loud ohohohooo
🙂
Think of me when you drink your coffee,
You so fast, sip-two and time to go!
And me Balkan way, easy and taking time
😉
And when you taste that perfect pistachio gelato!
Remember me when you walk where we walked..
Think of me when you hear the words we talked..
Remember me when you see the tree I would liked..
Or when you see the sunset that would make my heart all fuzzy and spiked..
Think of me when someting tasty you eat or cook,
When in someone else you catch my look,
Remember me when you hear something funny,
Think of my laughter and smile, in a style of a bunny
🙂
Wherever you are, I will be..
You just need to close your eyes and count 1, 2, 3..
❤

Kakva poeta...
Yes, I will think of thee..
🙂
1,2... and no more drinks for me 😉
Bravo Rabbit, svaka čast, kad će knjiga?
Hvala 🙂
Jel' ovo poema o meni, vidim svoje ime u naslovu!
Smiling, no more tears in my eyes,
Thinking of tomorrow and love that never dies.
The literal translation is "Where thou art Gaius, I shall be Gaia".
This was the vow recited by brides in Ancient Rome. The groom, would reply by saying "Ubi tu Gaia, ego Gaius", which means "Where thou art Gaia, I shall be Gaius"
I believe that this vow has religious connotations, considering Gaia is the goddess that represents the Earth for both Greeksand Romans. And since the Romans were encouraged to have children, probably the vow is also a prayer for fecundity and longevity.
It is interesting to note that sometimes the groom would not attend his own wedding ceremony, for several reasons, but, there had to be a written letter from him, which contained the vow for his bride, so that the marriage was complete.
After the wedding, the bride would become part of the groom's family and would practice his religion.
Ili kako se moze prevesti:
Gdje god da si ti, biti cu i ja..
Wherever you are, I will be..
That's amore

Hvala 😉
A ja sam izgleda imala srecu onda 😃
Nisam nikad ucila u skoli, vec ovako kroz zivot upijam najbolje - izreke 😉
