[MoFA] An introduction!

Day 2,552, 17:14 Published in Ireland Ireland by Aras an Uachtarain

Hello eIreland,
Firstly I’d like to take a chance to apologise to you for this first MoFA article being so late. We’ve faced some issues with getting the login details of the org and RL has kept me busy in the last couple of days.

In this introduction article, I’ll present to you several things we’ve been working on until now and announce a few projects we’re planning for the rest of this term. To begin with, I’ve decided to describe the current position of eIreland in the eWorld.
I think we’re on the right path to restoring our old reputation, the reputation of being the loyal friends, the fearless soldiers and generally glorious bast@rds. In our whole eHistory we’ve never had more influence in any alliance. No matter how small we are we’ve had quality people to present us in Aurora and all of them has done a damn good job. No matter which party elected them the Irish representatives has always been working hard for Aurora. Even in hard times, when people started to doubt our alliance Ireland has stayed as one of the most dedicated member of Aurora. We’ve been fighting for our allies, we’ve been a good friend and we surely plan to keep that up.

Let’s move back on the current term of Ian Arbuckle. So far we’ve signed just one MPP, the one with United States, our old friend and brother. We may haven’t been on the same side for some parts of the history, but I don’t remember we ever had some bigger issue with them no matter how close our borders are. USA has been supporting eIreland through our whole history, of course sometimes more and sometimes less, but we’re happy to have eUSA as one of our allies today and in the future too.

We’ve also had several meetings with numerous countries. The most important meeting was the first one in Aurora for this term where countries has presented their goals for current term so that HQ can make longterm plans in advance. Irish military plans for this term are to fight for its allies and not be a drain for the alliance. We had our fun the last month and frankly I think we’ll enjoy more making some money to be ready for the coming challenges. Few months ago we’ve faced the Airstrike from Moldove and we haven’t been prepared enough to respond on it as we should. We must not repeat the same mistake again. Money makes the world go round now and I believe we have a good potential to make the money our main strenght again. That’s what a resposible country would do.

Our main occupation so far was collecting the informations all around the world and I feel we’re prepared now for everything. We’re in the good position between eUK who’s been on the same side with us for more than half year now and eCanada, our bro’s we share several dirty secrets with. Countries near to us are Finland, Sweden, France, USA, Portugal, Norway and Poland. I believe none of those would not cause and troubles for eIreland any time soon. We’re either friends or at least we respect them as enemy as much as they respect us. Being in such a nice and safe situation our only occupation is to help our allies. Is this safety a good thing? Yes! We can always have fun with Airstrike every several months to help our allies and have a little more fun.

I’d like to present you the project of MoFA for this month. We’re looking for people to apply for Agents in Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once accepted, agents wouldn’t just write reports from foreign countries, their job would be also to collected and process the informations, meet people, get to know game mechanics more and get invovled in running this country in numerous ways. Agents would be the servants of the Republic, Agents must be active and motivated to do some hard work. Some of the Agent’s duties would be:

-Writing reports from foreign countries
-Collect and share informations with MoFA
-Help new Irish players more organised with advices and food supplies
-Write articles such as tutorials, analyzes and interviews with some influent people

As you can see we’re looking for the people who will really have lot of work to do and I’m hoping that many eIrish citizens will apply. We’ll organise ourselves in two workings groups and compete with each other. It should be fun. It should be useful. It should help eIreland. You should apply.

MoFA Agents meeting.

Well, that’d would be all for this introduction MoFA article, I hope you like the ideas and that you will be supportive to things mentioned here. Also, eIreland, just a little reminder... no matter how small you are, whole world knows you’re brave, be proud of yourself, you’re not playing just to be here, you’re playing to be something more than just “one of the countries”. We've never been "one of the countries".
