[Hungary] MoFA about us quitting PEACE
Voice of eHungary
Official Bulletin of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hungary — 17th November
————————————————————————————
Dear Citizens of Turkey,
I assume, many of you have asked yourself what is going on in PEACE and why so many members are leaving. In short words I can only speak on the behalf of Hungary, since I am its Minister of Foreign Affairrs.
We believe, that the organisation, which one day was solid as a rock became too slow, too burocratic, too malfunctional. Needless to point fingers on each other in a quest for finding a scapegoat. It is gone.
There are situations, when we truly believe, that a stucture may be and should be reformed. But sometimes it needs to started from the scratch. Why? Because we are humans. We say, we love changes. Damn! It is not true. We, as humans hate changes. We wish, that all the others should change first and when everybody did it, than it should be our turn. Maybe.
We want to be the pioneers of all the changes to come. Hungary and many others with different motivations decided to step out one by one and shut the door. I want to say with this occasion, that Hungary has opened all the doors to welcome her old and new friends.
Turkey is a very special issue for us. Our friendship to Turkey means more then ever to us. Thank you for fighting shoulder to shoulder to us! I am proud of having friends from eTurkey. I cannot forget when we were encouraging each other with Steoks, competing which of us is going to get the Media Mogul faster. I cannot recall who make it first but we were cheering each other like happy kids. For me that is a real friendship!
Sturctures, organisations, burocrats are comming and going. Friendship stands forever.
We love U Turkey! And thank you for everything!
montaigne
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs
