You are either with me or against me
Junkrat
This is the motto in which the current president, Clopoyaur, never believed. He proved it once, after Grease’s impeachment when he invited everybody who was willing to help South Korea and form the Government. A few persons accepted this invitation and worked with the current president, even though they are not Romanians, they are not part of anything related to Romania, and they have nothing to gain from all this (just to mention them: Dan/naD Wilshire, Khorne the blood God, Sirius Padfoot Black).
On the other hand, we have Grease and his flock of sheep, who seem to believe that everything or everyone who is not on their side is utterly against them.
Of course, since his impeachment this is more obvious, because he is angrier, his ego is shattered and his opposition is stronger. But let’s not forget his behavior before all this, let’s remember how he tried to divide the country by ethnicity, and because I don’t like to hear myself speaking just for the sake of it, here’s a good article written by an old eKorean -clicky- . In the chapter „On being a real Korean” you can see an objective point of view of how the e
😜resident treated the non-RL-Korean community.
„I am so bitterly disappointed with the new president’s perception of reality”
This is what Alfagrem, an old ex-Korean said a few months ago regarding Grease. And because I like and remember cool quotes I thought it’d be cool to share it with you.
About perception of things, let’s see what the three evil letters PTO mean.
Alright now, what does a Political Takeover mean to Grease? Well, the simple fact that he lost power, this means that PTO’s are more common than we actually thought. Now if I think about it, the ’89 Revolution when communism fell in Central-Eastern Europe it was actually a PTO by the Capitalists ).
Don’t get me wrong, even though Grease’s name can be found often in this article, the article is not about him, it’s about a category of people in South Korea, led (or misled) by a guy who thinks that eRepublik is a great game in which he can unleash the dictator within.
The purpose of the article
In a few days we’ll have the Congress election, I believe that this is going to be the coolest election in the history of South Korea. We’ll see many many votes dispite the low active population of South Korea, we already have articles pointing out who to vote (I am waiting for an article named „Guide: how to not vote the Romanians”), so I am trying to show another perspective of things, linking to articles, bringing arguments, not just trolling words meant to manipulate neutral people.
„Vom fi ce-am fost si mai mult decat atat”
Roughly translated as: „We shall be what we were and even more than that” – Petru Rares, Moldavian Voievod

My name was mantioned!

FEMALE.... Also you better shut XX you better shut up
if you aren't quiet santa will kick you butt out from this dang game 😛
My quote was a reference to Grease's policy of actually bringing in a foreign group (Romanians) into the nation of eSK and therefore placing his political career over the political security of the nation......basically leading to the situation you have now!
The root of the problem (and therefore the blame) can be traced back to me and Arjay Phoenician. We were so keen to have RL Koreans take over the nation that we promoted Grease beyond his capacity and ability to lead the nation before we were able to ground him in the realities of life in eSK.
The most pertinent fact we could have educated into him and his followers was the value that immigrants into the nation can bring and how they should not be judged OR given free reign until they had proved that they were here for eSK.
Like all groups the Romanians have added value to eSK and if it were NOT for the minimum wage law then I would have no hesitation in prouncing them as eKorean as many of the old guard.
PTO is not cewl, mkay!?!
Alfa, the minimum wage law can be justified. Yes, it has downsides, but I think Clopoyaur explained why he promoted this law. After all, this law is a result of the misunderstanding between the two sides.
If we can get along with each other then probably we can have a chance of building a nice e-country. But Romanians at the moment are demonized by Koreans. We have many faults, the main being that we came into this country silently, yet we are here and we have to deal with reality. And it's best for South Korea that we do it together.
Grease can keep the money from BoS, I don't think any Romanian cares about that, but let's set some common grounds in the best interest of South Korea because this looks more like RL Romanian politics where personal interests are above the general interest of the people.

You are close, but I think you are damn wrong.
Grease won the election the day before the impeachment. This is nothing like the 1989 revoluties where the people DON'T want their government. He just got elected by the people.
Instead, you should look at how the opposition handle themselves before and after the election, and eventually take power to determine whether or not this is a PTO.
In my book, you approved people their citizenship just for votes, you impeached him despite he won the election. You continued to bring people in where they have no desire to stay but would again give you a few more votes make
Better than the normal articles of just straight out attacks and has actually encouraged comments of actual worth for a change. Good article.
Grease was elected by a popular vote. Grease was not impeached by a popular vote, though, he was impeached by a majority in a congressional race largely determined by the strategy and mobility of fly-in voters, not the popular vote. Grease is the duly-elected President of South Korea, not Clopoyaur.
Too much drama. This place is starting to sound (and smell) like the USA. 🙁
Not really, Ocarina. The major difference here is in America it's Americans shouting at one another. Here its Koreans shouting at Romanians who seem to think their ability to fly in voters gives them the right to take control of a country that is NOT theirs.
As per my last article, in terms of results, I put Clpoyaur's administration as equal to Grease's. It's the fact that Clopoyaur had to resort to coercive tactics (impeachment, minimum wage, conditional bread distributions) that puts Clopoyaur at a disadvantage.
I know the reasonings behind the tactics, but the mere fact that Clopoyaur has to resort to such tactics to achieve even a modicum of positive results makes a telling statement about his mandate.
(This article's title caught my interest enough to break my 2 click weekend mode. Cya Mondays everyone.)
