Question 1How will you successfully lead this country?

KantThe main way I will lead the eUK is through my team, no man is an island and am very pleased with my team. I am also incredibly pleased with my policies and manifesto which have widely been commended and liked.

I have proposed to Double the amount of MoD rewards we pay, meaning that players will get twice as much money from the government for every kill. This will massively benefit players of any level. This is achievable because of our strong financial position.

This month under AMD we have increased the number of Training Wars, my administration would increase our Training Wars to the highest amount we can feasibly meaning more medals for eUK players. I will also be holding weekly PMQs meaning every week I will answer every question submitted from eUK citizens. This means I will be held account by questions and answers.

I am also proposing a universal coverage for new players and a new National program to mentor and fund younger players. just joining the game. From young players to older players my policy platform supports and helps all players in the eUK. I also intend to foster an environment which is for everyone, all welcome, all included, all listened to.

Wingfield

There are some clear priorities for the next term. The first is to restore the number of Training War partnerships that we have had, partly by necessary adjustments and partly by forging new ones, especially with neutral countries. Each partner in such an arrangement needs to have sufficient regions to offer up for the exchanges, so this does limit the number of wars that we can manage.

The next thing is our financial arrangements, firstly as a national economy. What programs we run are partly up to the administration and partly up to Congress and we need to keep the channels open between the two to work matters through. However, I am not for reinventing the wheel just to show that something new and flashy has been achieved. Congress has worked very hard over the past few months to set its budgetary and Treasury donation systems into a smooth machine and I do not want to see this disturbed. Ideas can come from Congress as well as the Cabinet. While I am not big on entertainment and games, I recognise that these mean something to other players and I will encourage them to continue as they have been of late.

I have an even greater concern in that the game economy is not performing very well at present and that this is affecting long term players with large businesses ad well as newer players hoping to get established. My administration will look at providing information and advice on appropriate economic structures for all players and ideally some assistance for players to select appropriate businesses, locations and markets.

Question 2What unique qualifications make you able to be CP?

KantBoth myself and my opponent have served as CP in previous terms him (2) and myself (6). So both of us are experienced in carrying out the role. What I would say is that over many months I have demonstrated activity and engagement in writing articles, greeting new players, active participation in governments and Congress. Being active in previous months is a real advantage to understanding where the eUK is now and how we move forward.

WingfieldThere is no better qualification than previous leadership experience. I served two terms as Country President at the end of 2019 and the middle of 2020. This was a time, as many will recall, when we were holding off the Irish bullies and struggling to maintain our neutrality between the two major power blocs. We were also reaching peace terms with a group of former PTOers who then settled down to become good eUK citizens.

I won’t try and point to my 14 years in the game, as game experience alone does not guarantee expertise. I spent many years finding my feet and learning where not to put them. The main feature common to most of us with a long game pedigree is that we are very strong militarily. Political skill is something learned in other ways. Party leadership and Cabinet membership over several years certainly help.

Question for KantAMD the current CP, is a member of your party however you are the nominee. What can you say to someone who thinks your party will change candidates again next election (and perceives it as bad). And how will your leadership differ from AMD's if at all?

KantThis is a very interesting question, my position has always been that there is a thin line between stability and stale. It is worth noting that my opponent has stated he will not serve for a long period of time, so whoever the people vote for they can only vote for one month at a time. I think being CP is very demanding and its wrong to trap people in the role. Whoever you vote for this month is not looking for a long CP term

Question for Wingfield if elected Can you say for certain if you will stay for a long time, and how will your leadership be similar if at all to Huey George's?

WingfeldI certainly hope that I will be in Huey’s mould but those are certainly giant shoes to fill. I would like a return to something approximating the Huey administration. There was a lot of fighting and trolling in the last month and it’s time that ended. There is no reason to point fingers. Let us all just work together better. I want a cross-party Cabinet and that includes people from the current administration who are willing to work with us.
Going back to the first part of the question, I do not see myself as staying long in the role. Let’s start working together again and let me work on finding some good successors. One way of doing that is to give people cabinet experience or continue good people in jobs they are doing well, such as Rory in Defence and Select28 in Health. I am looking for a safe pair of hands as vCP/PM, as that is the most important part of that role. None of us can be around 24/7 and senior Cabinet roles require people to front for the administration at different times. That being said, I am conscious of the need to be around to press buttons and will attempt to streamline this to fit into my waking hours.
It is important to note that I have emerged as a unity candidate from the parties not in the current administration. At the time of the Congress election it had not come to mind! I was only just returning to Congress after a break myself.
Some of us thought that Huey might be ready to come back but that was not to be! Many of us had been talking over the past few weeks about where we wanted the country to be heading and my candidacy grew out of that.

Question 5What concerns do you have about your opponents potential leadership?

KantThis is a difficult question without being negative however you have asked a question and unlike most politicians I will provide an answer. One of the biggest reservations I have is around wingfield's activity, I don't think he's been very active in government, or congress or in the media for many months. Apart from his manifesto article he hasn't posted an article (more than 2 lines) for over 1,000 days (over 2 years!).

I am also concerned that in his manifesto he claimed that we had less TW's now than under Huey, despite the fact this term we have increased our number of training wars. I think this mistake is a sign that my opponent doesn't really know what's been happening the past month and I worry that is because he hasn't been active enough.

WingfieldI do not want to bring negativity into this and start a slanging match with my opponent. He has his skills and expertise and I have mine. Let the voters judge on our records and backgrounds.

Thank You
