Who's to Blame??

My Fellow eAmericans

We have been through a lot recently: Being wiped by Poland, hungary and Serbia; the worker’s tax, and much more. Some people believe that it is the government’s fault for everything that has happened. I’m here to explain it to those players so that everything makes better sense to not only experienced players who are tired of blaming the admins, but also the newer players who think that the American Government is here to make the new world the most difficult thing for them to survive in.

Some of us think that the United States Government is one big Troll, kinda like this:

But this month, the government has been more like a helpless kitten stuck in a tree in regards to the worker/manager tax:

I’ll explain it for both the experienced players and the newer ones who are unfamiliar with the government and political mechanics of this game. In order to adjust taxes officially ingame, a country MUST have a congress. Last month, we almost had a congress but we were wiped again by the TWO forces occupying our country(Hungary, Serbia, and Poland). Despite our government’s best efforts, we were not able to maintain our regions in time for elections which would have secured us a congress for this month. Now you might be asking yourself, why is this month so important??

Well, this month in one of the newest updates, Plato created the Manager tax in order for countries to collect extra revenue in this phase of the game where to economic module is rather poor. The default percentage of this tax for countries that don’t pass legislation on this tax, or perhaps countries without a congress( the USA), are stuck with 25%. This really doesn’t make logical sense to anyone in this game with common sense. I mean, who in their right mind, would want the MAX tax percentage if they didn’t have the capability of making the decision for themselves?? Personally, I wish the default would be the lowest percent if we even needed this tax in the first place. A 1% tax on people working in the companies that they purchased with gold or CC, gold that may have even been purchased from Plato, is much more reasonable than forcing people to pay 25% on something that is theirs. If anything, Plato is hurting their pockets by having this tax because who would want to buy a Q7 weapons factory is theyre going to pay 250 CC daily just to use it?

Ladies and gentlemen, our government is not to blame for something like this; Oblige might not be able to hand money out as a tax return to citizens, but then again, this is NOT his fault. President Oblige has done all the proper steps in trying to fix this wrong; he has submitted multiple tickets to the game moderators asking for assistance with this fundamental glitch in the system, and now he is doing his best to coordinate with multiple levels of government and privately owned fighting forces to ensure that we have regions this month to hold a congressional election. But we need to UNITE as a country to overcome our adversaries. We will stand no chance if the citizens of this country have no faith in its government and if they are all leaving. We need citizens who will stick through the grit, pick up a gun, and kill some Hungarians. So I ask you, will you fight America?? Because WE NEED YOU!!

So, Id like to say from everybody here: Weee're sorrryyyy

Sooorrrrryyy

So if you didnt catch the memo, we are all really sorry about the inconvenience that the worker's tax is bringing you, but we really need a congress before we can do anything about it. Im optimistic about this though... once we have a congress, if nothing is done about this, then you can blame our government and have well founded anger, but until then: Keep on fighting America!
