Vote, vote smart and vote eUK

Day 1,260, 09:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Ullok

With the elections for Prime Minster/Country President just days away inboxes will fill, and our eyes will all be inundated with shouts and media on the subject as in any election.

You will no doubt hear a lot of things, one party hurling allegations at another like snowballs, and just like snowballs they can roll, picking up momentum and anything in their path, becoming larger and dirtier until they are just mud-slinging. Ignore the propaganda and “yes-wo/men”.

Focus on the FACTS

Don’t just listen to scuttlebutt, find out the truth for yourself and if you can’t prove it one way or another assume it’s fear-mongering trying to get you to vote a certain way, and remember, a person’s RL activities have nothing to do with this game. A stay-at-home parent with £30 in their bank account can be the CEO of a business empire propping up the British economy in game if they so choose. That’s the beauty of it.

Vote for Britain

This is not like the House of Commons/Congress elections a few days ago. There aren’t 25 people shoving PMs under your nose going “READ THIS!”

There are 5. Read their manifestos, look at the goals they are proposing and choose the candidate YOU think will benefit the country best.

After all, you have to live here after they’ve got what they wanted from you.

Bear in mind that:

Any population increase will largely be incidental. There is no eUK “babyboom” scheme in place at the minute and I am yet to see a really successful one.

Controlling Irish regions will no doubt be a baby-kissing, empty promise only made to get votes as it has been by most candidates for months, and yet another NE proposal has been shot down by the House of Commons.

The eUK left TERRA for telling them what to do. You may have joined a party, or not, but if you did it was because you believed in something. That however doesn’t make it their vote, nothing does! So vote as your conscience tells you, not your friends.

-and-

DON’T just vote for the face you know, or the hottest scantily clad woman. This is not a popularity contest. A lot of the problems faced by this country are simply the legacy of those elected before.

Vote, vote smart and vote eUK.
