Join the new world

Yesterday this site went under maintenance and there was some more updates. In this article I will outline the updates that were implemented. In my opinion, I think the updates weren't that good but, that does not mean the game isn't awesome. Erepublik is Awesome!



First of all, as you worked today I think you would have noticed the marketplace. I think this update is quite useless but, it may be helpful to some of you. You can already use the menu bar and get to the marketplace very fast. And you can also view the marketplace in a new tab. The marketplace has also changed. There is one more icon for Companies for sale which is okay. I think the marketplace is now more cramped and the icons are different (even though half the items are useless). The adding of the marketplace building in my opinion was purely cosmetic and doesn’t provide much help. Luckily this update isn’t that bad and they didn’t remove the marketplace link at the top. As you will see, other links were not as luckily.

One other change was the removal of the country administration shortcut link. You can still go to this page if you go to the rank page (XP, newspaper, MU, Party Members, and also Countries). And then you have to click the Canada flag and then country administration. You can also go to country admin if you get an alert and you’re in congress and you press the link. I think the removal of the country administration is a minus. This is a big hassle and it takes longer to view the country administration page and all the info (economy, society, military).

The third change is the removal of the news shortcut. You can still view articles from your home page but, you are now unable to see all the news articles. If there is some long cut to be able to see all the local news articles, please comment below. To see local news you have to click every single icon. This other update was also a downside.

I think these three updates (tell me if there are more) were quite bad made doing tasks more difficult. With this update, there was the removal of a feature, removal of two shortcuts, and also the addition of this cosmetic building that is very useless.

I would like your feedback but, I think everyone agrees with me. Other than that the idea of eRepublik is still a great idea, and I love the game!
