Every olympics people wonder who will top the medal table China or USA whereas little countries have no chance (New zealand 25th ) so someone came up with a fair medal table by dividing number of golds by population you can see how many people it takes to get a gold



Here's a list of the gold medals won at the Olympic Games this year, but with the results divided into the population, so larger nations (with a greater pool from which to pick their top athletes) have to win more gold medals to offset the advantage.
