Ni dan-danas nije otkrivena monstruozna tajna kuće broj 22.

ENGLISH
The Slovenian Metod Trobec is certainly the most notorious Slovenian murderer (and in the area of the then Yu) in the way he liquidated his mistresses and acquaintances. The newspapers wrote that this Slovenian forklift driver burned six women. They called him a monster, a demon, a sex maniac, a beast man.
Who exactly is Metod Trobec?
He was closed, selfish, moody, lonely, without friends, too attached to his mother. He killed cats and dogs at an early age. At the age of 14, his problems with the law due to theft began.
He served his military service in Kraljevo and Leskovac "without any problems". After returning from the JNA, Trobec left for Germany in the early 1970s. After 4 years of working in Germany, he returned to Slovenia and married a 22-year-old woman.
He returned to his old habits, cheated and robbed older women at the Ljubljana railway station. He also tried to misappropriate a rented car from the Federal Republic of Germany, but the police discovered it. He was therefore sentenced to thirteen months in prison. He suffered a nervous breakdown in prison and was treated from the prison complex in 1974 at the Polje Psychiatric Hospital.
After a few years of loneliness, he finds a woman again, but this time much younger than himself. He also became a drunkard without measure. Violence, theft and drunkenness seemed to be the only way for Metod Trobec to establish any kind of contact with people. It was now his lifestyle, which came to his mind. In the middle of 1979, namely, Metod Trobec made a gross mistake and revealed his true demonic face.
Due to the increasing number of thefts, the then police searched his house. What the police and SUP inspectors from Kranj found in Zgornja Bela number 10, could not fit in a car but in a truck. All the rooms of this house were cluttered with stolen goods. Various appliances, devices and technical equipment from "Metalka", wallets, jewelry ..... but - the inspectors, however, caught the eye of various women's things: underwear, nightgowns, dresses, bags, shoes, cloak, umbrella and documents on name of Zorka Nikolić. For the police, it was the name of an officially missing person. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for assaulting and robbing a German tourist. As soon as the investigators heard that Metod Trobec used to live in Dolenja Vas number 22 near Polhov Gradec, they went to this old and abandoned house. At almost every step in the yard, near the fertilizer and in the building itself, investigators found charred remains of human bodies, pieces of clothing, buttons, halter clasps. Remains of the skulls of "at least five people" were found in the ashes of a brick bread oven, as determined by medical experts.
The Trobec Metod did not choose too much: young, old, beautiful, ugly, white, black, blue, fat, skinny all the same, they were all his mistresses. He offered them company, sexual pleasure, and death. He killed them with his hands in moments of false tenderness.
An expert team of Zagreb psychiatrists, after two months of observation, estimated that Metod Trobec is not a mental patient but a psychopath, accountable and responsible for his actions. On September 24, 1982, the Basic Court in Kranj sent a Yugoslav strangler to a firing squad. A year later, the Supreme Court of Slovenia "saved" Trobec's death method and sent him to prison for twenty years. Thus, unfortunately, this bloody drama was not over. Police later uncovered the documents of some other women who were killed and burned by Trobec.
Even today, the monstrous secret of house number 22 has not been revealed. How many women did Metod Trobec actually kill? He committed suicide in 2006 and took his secrets to the grave.
