Trekk-Trekk for Fed April PP

Dear Reader,

Greetings all Feds and friends! And Fed friends. And any other variation of which you can concoct. It is me (Trekker Tlumac) and I am coming back into the party spotlight (Do a little dance, make a little love. Get down tonight, get down tonight) and announcing my candidacy for Fed Party President.

Well I have been a Fed for over a year now (I celebrated my Fed birthday the second week of March) and I love being a Fed. You guys have been great to me. You put up with my big mouth; you let me use my big mouth as Media director for over three months. And you guys even put me into that group of baboons known as a congress. I love it there!

I took about a month long break from serious activity there starting the beginning of March. I had real life things to set in order and I wanted to get some rest to do so. But all that time to thinking is not good for me. I started watching again. (Yes, I am one of those silly lurkers, that reads much and comments little. 😛) The last time I was a watcher, I largely did not understand what was going on around me. I was still a visitor in the land that is Meta-Game. Six months later, I have a much better handle of things and suddenly all the actions of others make sense.

I think it is time. Time for me to make a run for PP. (PP, snicker)
This will not be a full article, as this is mostly just the announcement. But there are a some points I do want to hit.

I think the Feds are on an upswing, this makes me happy. I want to be a continued part of that upswing. (Swing batter, batter. Swing.)More importantly, there is work to do. We have a lot of great ideas going on and the personnel to enact these ideas. What we need now is direction. We need a leader to direct our forces towards the improvement of party.
What do I mean when I say improvement of party?

(No, the answer is not beer pong. Well, not this time at least.)

It does not mean that I think the party is broken, so let us clear that out now. We have a great party, but all things can be better. We have large base of great people. Great! Largest eUSA party. Wonderful! We have activity issues. This is well known. I want to combat this. We will continue to encourage activity.

How?

By grass-rooting it. We start with active players and volunteers to encourage activity (politely, without pressuring. So that means no whips and chains. Sorry folks). This will be things like a friendly message hello and checking to see how everyone is. We may not get replies back, but we will get some. I will contact people personally when at all possible.

Another major point we will work on is our relationships with the other parties, both top 5 parties and 6thers. This will achieved through the instituting of better communications between us and them. For starters, I will engage in conversation with other PPs. As far as I know, I have few enemies. I also have always tried to maintain friendly relations with everyone in the eWorld, with one or two exceptions. So I look forward to working with other PPs. Another measure I will take to help this along is to create a informal department of public relations. The Feds will have informal ambassadors to other parties.

That is all for now. I am not yet releasing the names of anyone I hope to have working with me in my administration. That will
come in the next few days.

But let me stress: All who want to help us make the Fed party
greater will have a place.

With that I am sending out a call to all those Proud and Horny Feds who love their party and want it so achieve greatness. For the old time Feds who remember the prior greatness of the party, won’t you help us make it that great once more? And to all the young Feds or those who were/are two clickers who remember none of the old times, won’t you help us write the next section of Fed history?
