This is your new Country President speaking.

Hello !

There is only a few days left until the presidential election. And I’m going to win!
Most of you already know me, I am known as taulen, the guy with the awesome beard. I am the guy who ALWAYS do what is the best for the country, I know a few of you disagree with me on some cases, but I hope most of you know I always do what is in the best interest for Norway and our alliance, and have been doing that for as long as I have played. Truth be told, I have 2 mercenaries medal I’m not too proud of, but I hope you can see past those.

I have been planning this “comeback” for quite a while. And now it is the time to get Norway on the right track again. We have had quite a few successful presidents in the past, but still Norway isn’t doing too great. The baby boom never comes, and that is no surprise to most of us. We have played this game for a long time, and some of you remember a time when Norway were one of the largest and most successful countries in “the new world”. Most of the people who built Norway at that time, are long gone. And they are never coming back, unfortunately. And we have a real problem getting new players. I have no hope that I will be able to change that in my term, but I will not stop hoping for a miracle. We will have to do with what we have got at the moment, it is not much, but enough to do our best.

Regarding the latest events in Norway, both the Natural Enemy proposal from Germark, which was indeed voted down with only “minutes” to spare, and our rogue congressman who also proposed Germark as an Natural Enemy without any approval from the current Government, we did of course vote it down, but still it shows how vulnerable we are in a small country like this to these kind of players. Surprisingly well over 50% of congress in Germark voted yes on the proposal, hopefully a few of those votes were from non-active players, and just followers. But in the end it looks like Germark and Norway can still be friends, and work together. There is still hope in this “new world”, and for humanity.


I will give an update in the very near future with what my government will look like, and who will be my “right hand” the next 30 days. I’m positive I will be able to put together one of the greatest group of people ever been in office in Norway, they will be fantastic, both at their job and as friends.

Lately there have been a lot of discussions about Asgard vs. EDEN. I think most of you know my stance. I have and will always be an EDEN fan boy. For better or for worse. In my opinion, and also what have been proven at earlier occasions, but also lately when Germark proposed us as an Natural Enemy, EDEN showed us that they support us fully. Even tho they did not have to prove that this time with an official statement, I hope my fellow citizens of Norway will understand that a full support from EDEN is the difference between a living country and a dead and wiped country. We would never have survived an attack from Germark without EDENs full support, so I am glad to tell you that we had their full support, so I will continue to support EDEN, and hope Norway as a country will do that to. At the same time I am surprised, but glad to tell you that we also had Asgards support, but I will continue to stand behind EDEN, but of course at the same time having one close eye at Asgard, I do like the idea of Asgard, but I feel we need to elaborate, and have a more “real” discussion about Asgard before anything else can be said and done regarding that alliance. Please come discuss this matter with me if you have any useful information or insight, I will gladly be open for input and suggestions and about learning more about Asgard real agendas and plans.

I will not throw out empty promises left and right here, and the ones of you who know me, will state I am not one who do that. What I will do on the other hand is to be loyal to Norway as long as Norway is loyal to me. I do not tolerate players with multiple agendas and/or tourettes syndrome. I will always do what is best for Norway, I can and will change my mind, but only after having all the facts. Norway will stand, and Norway will live.

I know quite a lot of you guys love a great war, but in my mind a training war is a waste of resources, and I know for quite a fact that most players do not like losing the extra bonuses and land, even if it is just for a short while. So I will not work to get together any training wars during my time, unless it is necessary to complete ingame missions., but what I will work for is Mutual Protection Pacts (MPP’s) with the countries we are close to, and also where EDEN set their priorities so people will not have to move around every day, chasing a country where they can complete their Daily Orders. I know some of you will say that it is just to move to Argentina, China, Greece or wherever they have a lot of MPP’s. But I know for a fact that a lot of young players do not know this, and this is also the players this harms the most. They do not have much currency, and at the moment currency is at a premium, both with gold prices they way they are, but also salaries being historically low. So being able to stay in one country, this time our own, Norway, and being able to complete the Daily Order from home will be of importance.

With this last paragraph I conclude this long and factual speech. Hopefully you have reached a conclusion when reading this, and hopefully that is to vote for me, taulen. I will not let you down, and I will do my best to protect and serve our country to the best of my ability.

I will under the TP - The Party umbrella. As I believe this is the best choice for me at the moment, but at the same time I’m not really supporting any parties, there is not enough politics going on in Norway at the moment to give my support to anyone party.

I will continue working for FSK during my presidential term, and also as a Commander for DNF. Neither will be hurt by doing this, I would never have gone for the Country President title if I believed FSK or DNF would suffer,
