The sorry state of eUSA politics and its sheeple

Hi there. It’s been a few days since my last article, so how y’all been? Keeping this opening light as we’re going to get into some heavy stuff about what I’ve noticed when comparing before my absence from this place with how things are since I returned, and I’m afraid it isn’t pretty ☹




Firstly, the King Making from secret backrooms and channels has gotten much worse than it used to be. It used to be that although there was an “official unity candidate” decided in the backrooms (from the days where eUSA was fighting very real PTO threats), it was still possible to have someone popular run against that candidate and sometimes even win. I’m not convinced that could happen in the current climate where the CP is now a handpicked dictator in all but name (we’ll come on to the evidence for that in a bit).

Where are the alternate candidates like we used to have? Where are the genuine debates ahead of a CP election where the candidates could air their thoughts, their directions, parade their cabinets, put up an interesting fight for the highest position in our eCountry? Where is the article from the proposed incoming POTUS showing us where he wants to lead us? Hell, even the candidates in eUK put up election articles!! Are we worth so much less to the eAmerican administration?

Where is the CHOICE for the ordinary citizens of this eCountry? It’s almost like the King Makers fear having the pawns actually knowing things and making informed choices… after all, you might vote against them instead of being a willing sheep being led by the nose. You might realize the power of pawns against King Makers lies in sheer numbers.




Secondly, I managed to get elected to Congress for my Party this session. I am appalled by the state of things in the eUSA right now when it comes to transparency, accountability, and democracy. I’m going to lay out here how the relationship between the executive and congress used to work, and how it works now… judge for yourselves.

What used to happen. If the executive (CP/DoD/MoFA/etc) wanted to undertake some new form of military action, to start a new set of wars, to do airstrikes, etc – they had to bring that to private congress for ratification. Ratification included the executive justifying to congress why the action was needed. Congress could veto the action and say no and make sure the in-game vote failed if they thought the action was unneeded or unwarranted. This is accountability. This is democracy. This is by the people, for the people.

What happens now. The CP raises an in-game law request, Congress is TOLD to do nothing and that the CP will decide before the voting session ends whether they want to go forward with the action or not. No discussions. No votes. There is even now an act of law appended to the Constitution and Code called the “Rogue Voting Prevention Act” to censure congresspeople who do not follow this new way of doing things. This is fascism. This is dictatorship. I can see how much easier this makes a CPs eLife… hell when I think back to being CP in the old days and the time spent justifying every little thing to Congress, I can appreciate why the executive likes this way of doing things. It’s so much easier to run things in a dictatorship with no-one allowed to act contrary to your wishes!




The last thing I will pull to people’s attention is this – yet again there was a late WHPR with little to no information on the current war actions. The executive just tell people to work it out for themselves from the half dozen sources of information needed to piece together what is going on – not to mention that some of this information is held in areas that ordinary citizens do not have routine access to (as they are outside of the actual game).

There is no surer way of spotting a fascist dictatorship than their unwillingness to share WHY what is being done is being done. Treating the citizens like mushrooms… kept in the quiet and dark, and fed nothing but s&%*.

I believe we have got here like the frog in the beaker in an experiment. If you throw a frog directly into boiling water, he’s gonna jump out as he recognizes the danger. If you put in a frog into tepid water and gradually heat him up until he boils alive he doesn’t notice until it is too late.



We are all mushrooms and frogs right now!
