The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors

Day 2,996, 18:09 Published in USA Poland by Wild Owl

Hello America,

It's been a while since I wrote to you and I'll try to cover some details in this article before I get to the point.

My CP election defeat to Gnilraps was, in all honesty, a blessing in disguise. Gnilraps is one of the two individuals in eUSA against whom I won't regret losing (Deepchill is the other one, he's a boss), and I think he did much, much better than I would have done in December. Either way, I don't see myself returning to eUS politics or running for the Presidency again. Thanks to those of you supported me, and I respect some of those who didn't. Most people's opinions about me are made, and are going to remain that way, and I certainly won't attempt to change any of them.

Coming back to the article, this month there are two candidates vying for the position of PotUS. On one side is The_DarkKnight, who's made a name for himself by buying assault and infantry packs for others including FYROMians and Bulgarians and being perceived as a rich guy, compared with Orikfricai who's worked his way up the party/MU ladder to run for President.

I'm not going to get any sort of power or position regardless of who wins (I was asked by TDK, but denied it because of a lack of time), but with USA's high spending in January, the country needs a CP who can work towards low spending in February. I encourage all eUS citizens to ask their Congressmen to compare the SCI spending in months which have had TDK as our NSC chairman compared with a TDK-free NSC. You can leave out January as this was the first time we were attacked in 2.5 years. Without giving numbers as I don't want to be blacklisted, I can say with absolutely certainity that the months with TDK in NSC involved our country spending twice-possibly three times as much as we would in a non-TDK month.

With the three-pronged attack on our country, we need a period of harmony, rest and growth, and we need to lower this insane 25% tax as soon as possible which is driving away citizens and commune holders from America. The vast majority of tactical decisions that led to the US win against its invaders (including the Latvia AS and the Greek NE) were not influenced in any shape, way or form by either of the CP candidates, although one of them seems to be taking full credit for the war effort.

Any kind of 'tax-rebate' that you'll get from TDK will be little more than the money that was over-spent because of the extra baggage and drama that he brings to this country, along with his over-spending tactics. And while he may claim to be more well known in foreign circles, being disliked by most people isn't exactly an accomplishment, and I'd personally have someone who starts over with a clean slate than someone who's got no lack of enemies.

Keep smiling.
