Pokemon: Games I'm looking forward to

Having grown up with Hoenn, the Sinnoh region is my second favourite pokemon region of all of them. 4th generation holds the silver medal for my favourite generation of pokemon, after 3rd generation and Hoenn region.
As such, I'm sure you can understand my excitement when I saw that they were releasing the remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the pokemon video games that introduced the 4th generation of pokemon, and allowed us to explore the sinnoh region!

Add to that excitement, I find out they are making a new game that takes the pokemon franchise in a brand new direction with an open world, based largely on the Sinnoh Region.

Both of these games look like they will be pretty good, and I am looking forward to what I assume will be November and February releases of these games!

I grew up on Kanto. To be specific, on the Japanese cartridge of Pokemon Green. So about half a year before they actually debuted in North America. Although I didn't understand Japanese, I bumped my way into beating the games. If I remember correctly, it took me about 80 hours to do so. The hardest part was understanding I need the Silph Scope to see the ghost in the Pokemon Tower. And also having to talk to a Grunt after battle to get him to drop the Lift Key in the Team Rocket Hideout. Since I didn't understand the language, and given how small the inventory/PC was, I was reluctant to throw away items to get it, which was required to operate the elevator to see Giovanni.
I stopped playing Pokemon at around Gen IV. Games were made too easy. And especially after Masuda came out and said he removed the Pokemon Tower and other things Pokemon fans wanted in games because he thought they were "too hard". He wanted to make games even more easy by removing features he felt were "too complicated".
While I've played every generation of pokemon, though Gen I and Gen II were with the remakes, Gen IV was the first one that I actually beat the game in, then I went and beat the game in Gen I, Leaf Green. Finally after years I went back and finally beat the game in Sapphire. After Gen IV, there just became too many pokemon and they added the fairy type, so I couldn't understand the type matchups anymore, even for already released pokemon as pokemon like Ralts and Jigglypuff changed types so I had no idea how type matchups were working out anymore. Then they added Mega Evolution. Then they added primal evolution for some pokemon (Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) Next they added Z-moves and different variants of pokemon from earlier generations (Alolan Raichu, Galarian Meowth, etc.) It's just become too much for me, but I'm still good with Gen I through IV of pokemon
