To the eRepublik players
I sent this to Plato all the money I spend they should answer.
Are you aware of the people that are on the verge of quitting?
They see the game as being corrupt, people having much more CC, gold than they should, eCountries have inside information. eCroatia is on the verge of just quitting and so am I.
Plato responded.
We took actions against that account not because it was traded, as the Community presumes, but because clear evidence has been found that it was being used by multiple players at the same time. This, however, it's not something new - the same measures were taken in similar cases we dealt with over the years.

I suspect to hear nothing from the eRepublik.
Your suspicion is correct.

Ya know, I hate to be an ass...
No wait, I rather enjoy being an ass at times.
This is one of those times.
I started playing with full intent to spend nothing. Things happened (not gonna dredge up ancient history) and I paid real monies to replace gold that was lost. That prompted me to take similar actions to make the game a bit easier. Finally I was blowing $100 at a time. Now I'm not complaining. No one twisted my arm. I was entertained and hopefully I helped a few others too. 'Nuff about paying to play.
Looking back, eRep has always been corrupt since I've been here. In the begining, for me it seemed trivial bitches from disgruntled souls that should move on. More recently it has been complaints from online gaming friends that I know. I don't need screenshots or irc logs.
The worst part of the whole mess is that admin went from actually communicating with us, then to talking AT us, then ignoring us and finally this carnival world they've created the last couple years. The biggest error, I might point out, is admins outright refusal to say, "Whoops! Made a mistake, so we'll retract the last update and fix what didn't work before we implement it again.". I mean really? Plato's failures are replete, rocket factories, houses, now airplanes. Where are the results? At least "buy bots" worked ages ago with a completely broken econ. Then some smart guys discovered how to manipulate them for a profit and *poof* we've been left with BS plans to encourage new players to stay and old farts to buy gold.
Been said many times, "I only keep playing because of the community.". Yeah, well that horse has been rode hard and put away wet. I probably interact more with old friend that pop in to say "Oh shit! Are you still playing?" than I do with active accounts.
I say give it 2 years and there will be 10 people in Romania trying to figure out how to take over 5 people in China. Sad, very sad...
Good for you Techie!
agreed and supported
eLabs needs to recognize that there is no influx of paying players to this game.
Every paying player who quits is a permanent blow to this game's margin.
