I am not so long here.. since Nobember 2018..
But I can try to dig out some old videos on YouTube, which eDinosaurs shared with me when they would talk about those "good old days" 🙂

In my time here, not much changed except Armory was introduced, as well as Air zone in every battle round (before Air rounds were 4, 8 and 12, SH was 30 instead of 10 golds, and campaigns were ending when one side would reach 94 and not 150 points like we have it now).

Aha, also auto-eat is introduced, and the Fight button.. before those we had to click to eat the food.. same as click to fight (many clicks were needed 😃)

And Daily order before was a bit different, now we have more missions as Daily missions + we get more stuff from those 🙂

You discover the tagline of the game has changed, it was "What if the financial crisis REALLY goes bad?" I think Plato changed it when the crisis really went bad!
Then you see a screenshot of the old battle system, few from the eRepublik V2 (free time, library) the guerrilla fight and the first alliance of the game, EDEN. Times when 35 K strength were a must. Times when we elected miss eRepublik between 30+ female gamers. And we used IRC chat instead of Discord.

Public Forums were meeting places in the early days. Every Country, every political party, every MU had its own Forum... then came Chat rooms (IRC, RIZON)... then Discord....

TELEGRAM was something you received in mail when your close relative died.

I still receive some telegrams in my mail, from eRepublik events and offers.

*In the early versions, we could see each other's Inventories, Gifts sent and received.

*There was no citizenship, so anyone from any country could come and vote for or against you.

*Wars and weapons were prohibitively expensive. Ordinary citizens could fight 3-5 times and then had to heal in hospital and no more fights during the day or your health would suffer. (There was an option to heal for 2 Gold, but that was very expensive for ordinary citizens)

*... and things mattered. Spending 10 hours daily playing the game on Forums, Chats all outside the eRep site. Game was lived, played by players.

*All Ministerial positions were created and used by players LONG time before ministerial position appeared on eRep site

*Military units were created by players... Military units existed in Chat rooms and Forums. No such option was available on eRep site. But they were powerful. Well coordinated Military units could change the election results, win battles conquer countries by Takeover....

*God's were born. Dio Brando is still considered a god by many citizens today. The Book of Dio consists of 11 massive ''Chapters'' (his bible if you like)
