Partisanship
fingerguns
-noun
1. an adherent or supporter of a person, group, party, or cause, esp. a person who shows a biased, emotional allegiance.
wiki: In politics, partisan literally means organized into political parties, the opposite of partisan being a nonpartisan. The expression "partisan politics" usually refers to fervent, sometimes militant support of a party, cause, faction, person, or idea.
Dearest Party members,
I am addressing you today not only as a candidate for Party President, but as a brother. We've spent these last few months engaged in a battle of ideals, fighting against the complacency and ignorance that has crippled this nation for so long. We have made enemies, but we have also formed bonds that I hope will last for years to come. And, today, we have emerged victorious. All of our hard work and hard fights were not in vain, as new generations of party members become influential leaders and prove exactly how our party, our programs and our ideas can benefit this nation.
But this is hardly a time to claim Mission Accomplished. While our party has done some great things, there is still more to do. As a devoted member of this party, and an experienced party leader, I hope to earn your vote for Party President and together we can work toward an even greater future.
My top priority as Party President will be to promote nonpartisanship in all we do. I promise to never view this party as any better or worse than any other group. You have my word that I will always give the opinions of other parties as much, if not more, consideration than that of our own members. In these difficult times, the last thing we need is focused dedication to our small group and a clear message to rally behind. We have a responsibility to blur lines and be involved with absolutely every organization so no one thinks we don't like them. If we aren't constantly expanding our list of passive acquaintances, then we aren't making progress.
With this as my focus, I know we can move forward and show the nation what being a political party is all about.
Herp. Derp.

dude, I luv ya, but we have the primaries for a reason.
It would be interesting to know what party you are running for president of? A lot of good ideas.
Satire isn't for everyone.
I liked it.
voted like you would not believe
Agreed. Party leaders have no balls these days. Its all about croney-ism and backchatroom deals. The party affiliations these days might as well just be about who you think has the prettiest avatar that you want to appear on your profile page.
"Satire isn't for everyone."
Aah, but you did it so well!
Oh no she didnt'!
I love the feds, but I would push the delete button on the party (if there was such a thing) in an instance for the eUS. Country>party
Country😛arty in eRep like Country😒tates in RL
We keep misunderstanding what UNITY means. Nonpartisanship ain't it.
That would be like getting rid of all military branches/divisions/platoons and just having one big group called MILITARY. What a nightmare!
We break things down into smaller groups for ease of organization, as well as to establish pride and loyalty. For example, Army is the best because we fight so hard for this country. That's just a fact!
My Army pride doesn't make me any less patriotic because the Army is working for the good of the country... just like every other military branch. But my Army pride DOES MEAN I work extremely hard for the Army and when people ask for a branch to join, you better believe I'm gonna say Army first. It means I give special treatment to my Army soldiers and identify myself as a part of that specific group.
Partisanship is the same thing. The Federalist are the best. I love the Feds so I work hard for them and put their interests ahead of USWP, AAP, LIBS, UIP, DemReps, SFP, Nationalists, everyone else. Since the Federalists are a patriotic group that focuses on the good of the US as a whole, this loyalty and pride are not bad. Actually, it's quite good.
army sucks MI FTW
