Day 1,438, 19:01 Published in Australia Netherlands by lancer450

G’day eAustralia,

I am here to submit to the people of eAustralia a declaration of my principles and purposes that I plan to carry out during my term if elected. I hope not to take up too much of your time.

INFORMATION

This department plays an integral role in keeping citizens involved and up-to-date with the events occurring within their government. I was once a Minister for this department under the Majester government not too long ago and feel it is just as beneficial to our society nearly as anything else.

I will be pushing for my cabinet to release articles two to three times per week. We must continue to be updating citizens on the changes that have occurred during this time. I wish not to overdo or barrage the public with too many articles because normally there aren’t too many things happening to require any more than what I have promised. The only time I believe daily updates are necessary is with regards to the military, which is covered under the Department of Defence newspaper.

I want to create the most open and transparent government as possible. I shall have the Senate speaker given absolutely full access to all cabinet discussions and documents. I believe both parts of government should work together as closely and cohesively as possible. Another change I wish to bring about is creating a Question Period. The Senate will be able to ask my cabinet and I anything about their respective departments. This was promised last month but, sadly, nobody followed through. I am dedicated to making this work under my term in government if I am elected. This will be beneficial to not only the Senate but to my cabinet as well.

MILITARY

eAustralia is currently in a precarious position and many have offered their opinion on where we should go from here. I am one who would love to be able to see eAustralia on the map and capable of aiding our allies in the fight against ONE. I would like to be able to end the vicious cycle that we keep finding ourselves in. To start out, let me just say that I prefer diplomacy over war, but that does not mean I am afraid to use force. I would like to try negotiating with eIndonesia once more because they have finally had their country wiped from the map and their all-important region of Java conquered. We, along with our allies, have shown that we are tired of their antics. But if we are unable to reach a reasonable deal for both sides, like I said before, we will inevitably go to war.

As for eNew Zealand, they have shown themselves to be backstabbers and cowards. Whilst eAustralia and her allies were assailing eIndonesia, we were suddenly struck from the rear. It’s quite convenient the time they chose to do this, with absolutely no warning. And that is not the first time that this has happened. I, similarly to the situation with eIndonesia, would love to be able to settle our differences diplomatically. But, if this is not possible, warfare is foreseeable.

Let me reiterate that it is my intention to use our current momentum to end the war and maintain our place on the map. I would like for eAustralia to be able to help her allies and consolidate her position in CSC and EDEN.

In addition, I plan to have a number of promotional articles released advocating the ADF and the benefits of joining the ADF. I want as many eAustralians as possible to get involved in our military and help our country grow. I also plan on maintaining a healthy stack of MPP’s for the sake of national security. As for other MU’s, I would like our forces to be fighting alongside each other strategically and cohesively. I believe that MU’s that fight where we want them to fight should receive rewards for their contributions as well.

EDUCATION

Education is critical in keeping younger players involved and keeping them playing the game. Just gaining back our regions like we did isn’t enough to ensure players will stay involved and active and playing the game. If we don’t begin to grow, we will continue in the vicious cycle I have mentioned above. Recently, there has been a surge of Greek players trying to help create a baby boom in eAustralia. I love this idea and justly appreciate them trying to help us out. Keeping citizens well-informed and involved will only assist in this process and help create a possibility for a baby boom.

Some ways to keep citizens playing is releasing promotional articles detailing the benefits of getting involved in a Military Unit. Along with that, there will be articles released frequently with links to IRC and our forums, and the benefits of joining them, to encourage and persuade both new and old players to get more energetically involved in our community. Our community has been, and always will be, our chief asset. I mentioned this in my previous article; the community is the backbone of any country and ours must be strengthened once again or we will see activity to begin to die off like it has done in the past.

TL😉R
- I will inform the public and run one of the most transparent and communicative governments in recent months.
- I will have my MoI publish 2 to 3 articles per week.
- I will educate and involved new and young players alike through articles promoting our forums, links to IRC, and the benefits of joining an MU.
- I will arrange a Question Period where Senators will be able to ask my cabinet and I questions about their respective departments.
- I will try my hardest to use our current momentum and preserve eAustralia on the eWorld map, as well as aiding our allies in wars against ONE.
- I will reward MU’s that fight where and when we need them to fight.

I hope to be able to achieve these changes and truly advance eAustralia’s position in the eWorld if elected on the 5th of November.

Just to let everybody know, I will be releasing an article tomorrow outlining my cabinet.

So please vote for me, lancer450, on the 5th and help make eAustralia great again!
