Leading The Country.

Hello eIreland. Just a short little article (Edit: Not very short at all, now time to watch Crazy, Stupid, Love with the beautiful Ryan Gosling. Ta ta) from me on who I would ask to run/lead this country if I was in power. I'll use cabinet positions, advisory roles, the whole lot and come up with my right hand men.

First things first, I would completely abolish the most ego fuelling, useless position that almost all CP's give to their closest mate or someone in exchange for votes.

It's basically just a position for some pr*ck to say they have more power than someone else whilst doing absolutely sweet f all for a whole 30 days.

Yes that's right you guessed it: Vice President would be *poof*.

Next I'll start with the most obvious choices for positions.

Minister Of Finance: Sweet Drinker. Is Sweet Drinker the best Minister Of Finance eIreland have had since myself? Probably. All jokes aside, Sweet is the best MoF I've seen and I've worked closely with some of the best. (Appleman, Brian Boru, Dubhthaigh). He seems to go above and beyond to make money instead of sticking to the more conservative approach of simply playing the MM (Monetary Market for RTK)

Minister of (Co-)Foreign Affairs: irishbhoy1967 and ChewChewShoe. Another almost no brainer. I'd pick an active irishbhoy1967 (not the sh*t c*nt who bought his account) and ChewChewShoe. I'd have irishbhoy1967 purely for taking the minister to a whole different level in terms of activity and reach. You actually achieve things with him as MoFA as opposed to your simple "Whats going on around the world" articles that people barely read. I'd give ChewChewShoe the co seat for MoFA (once again an active, non lazy Chewie) purely because of the vast array of contacts around the eGlobe. Can almost get you a pair of ears in every circle jerk in the eWorld.

Minister Of (Co-)Defence:Seanan and Marcus Suridius. Another, in my eyes, obvious choice. Recent months/years Seanan has made the military side of eIreland his own. Sacrificing a year of his eLife so other people can have more and him less. Very well liked, level headed and has a no bullshit approach to a lot of stuff. Secretly very opinionated but knows how to hide it well. He'd be the one man to keep this country on the right track military wise regardless of who was in the top seat. Marcus on the other hand for me would be more of the whip of the department. I'm personally not very timid or understanding so I would need someone to emulate some of my characteristics. Not the smartest bloke in the world but his heart is 9/10 in the right place and knows exactly where eIreland should be and how to get there.

Minister of Education and New Citizens: Irasian and Ian Coleman. This will be, obviously, the amalgamation of the MoE and MoNC departments. Even though I personally don't hold these two departments in high esteem I obviously understand the importance of them in our society. Irasian has made the New Citizens area his very own and is rivalling dear old Edana in efficiency and reach. Another obvious choice. Ian Coleman in my eyes is a very boring person who seems to find complete joy in someone of the most monotonous tasks i.e the eRep Wiki. Regardless of this, someone has to do those jobs and I'm glad it is Ian. Ian has produced some wonderful tutorials (as has Irasian, thus the fit) and has filled in a lot of blanks in eIrelands history. Thus I feel no other person deserves the responsibility of teaching our youth. Objectiveness will be Lesson 1 though. We don't want many more ILP youngsters running around talking about stuff they have no idea about or were even around for.

Minister Of Community: James Keiller (with Einberliner, if possible). Another ministry that I find relatively useless and with little esteem to it but none the less handing out free money to people to spend in our markets could be something James would be very good at..Seriously though, James (and Einie) are two of the finest MoC's we've had in eIrish history. Granted, they haven't had much competition with the MoC seemingly attempting to do the bare minimum at all costs. (Lottery, Awards, repeat, repeat, repeat, prove nothing was stolen.) They'd add a lot of colour and light-heartedness and they'd also be tasked with keeping the public on my side (A monstrous task)

To be honest, I don't know what I would do to the MoImm. It's another department that I feel people use to boss other people around and for their own personal gain. There's never really been a stand out MoImm because it would be almost impossible. Such an irrelevant job.


Obviously I'd be Supreme Commander and hopefully last more than 3 days so ignorant fools like Death And Taxes would finally shut up.


Well there you have it. I might have forgotten a Department of two, I don't take much notice in the irrelevant ones.
