Law Proposal
Dear citizens of eIreland,
This article is about a proposal Congress Member Trito of eIreland made, Nov - Dec term. Whilst he has made it, he is happy for me to inform the public about the law.
Background
Congress member Trito raised the idea of lowering taxes to "Increase supply in the Irish markets", whilst this was discussed in congress, it was noted that an added benefit of lowering taxes will decrease the amount of income Peru (who currently occupy us) receive from the occupied regions.
Law Proposal
Congressmen Trito proposed his two laws:
Lowering WRM Import Tax
And
Lowering FRM Import Tax
Reason
Whilst we are under occupation, this will reduce the amount of income earnt by our occupiers. These taxes can easily be reversed once we free our regions. As well as the original idea of trying to encourage producers to sell their wares here.
Projected Benefits
Slim. We as Irish citizens might get some extra products on our market, however our tax income will become lower. However it means Peru will earn less from our regions, making their war and occupation more pointless.
Projected Disadvantages
We will loose income earnt from these taxes. However this will be offset by a large donation made by Colin last congress term (even if another player has tried to claim this donation illegally), which will ensure we have enough money to sign MPPs for the months to come.
Side Note
Whilst this is being introduced by a congress member, in my role as MoF I would strongly suggest people to vote Yes to it.

why are you reducing the irish to beggars? rusty surely we can afford a tax cut without the help of colin. surely it does not bring so big an income into ireland that we should refer tothe great colin?
Who begged? the donation happened days before Trito proposed the law. I am simply stating facts that our economy was boosted by his donation.
If you want to ask about begging, how come your selling comments and article shouts? is that a form of begging?
Didn't you beg me to give you money for your companies even though you didnt follow the rules of the scheme?
Didnt you beg the government to pay you 300k a month for your MU's damage?
