Land of Confusion
Capitan Comando
Still known for abundant fields of grain and breathtaking landscapes, Argentina may soon adopt a new moniker: El Estado de Violencia.
Bellweather developments include a precipitous and sudden rise in the price of domestic armaments. Without inflation, the cost of Q1 weaponry has nearly doubled in the past six days, with volume of all qualities far exceeding normal quantities.
Coinciding with the rise in arms pricing, repeat "military exercises" conducted with neighboring Chile--numbering three conflicts in the same period of time. On one hand, this author welcomes the opportunity to train with my fellow citizens (and by extension, alliance members) to strengthen our national defensive capabilities. Yet the decision to train with Chile is problematic for several reasons.
1) Argentina strengthens the capacity of a (presently) friendly regime of an immediate neighbor, which doubles as a proximate competitive force vying for regional influence.
2) Alternative forums exist for training our citizens, including and in particular participation in the conflicts of Alliance countries (with the number of conflicts and countries growing seemingly by the day).
3) The wholesale price of basic armaments continues to increase, attracting increased resource commitment to the production of weapons while basic services such as housing go unanswered, as well as the failure to construct defensive positions.
All this exists against the backdrop of Brazil's continued occupation of Mesopotamia, with which tensions, while temporarily at ease, continue to simmer over the occupation of Argentinian territory.
Worrisome times in the Land of Violence, indeed.
Until later, bastantes!

Non-sequitors are sometimes funny, Ernesto. But we prize originality, not eight year old internet memes from badly translated Sega video games.
That said, "someone set us up the bomb." 😉
Argentina is weird, embrace it!!!!!!!!
The cat is on the table.
WTF?

Wow! Lots of low brow Spanish-language humor. Please, keep raising the dialogue, monoglots!
Barbak... ¿quién es “él”, culo?
Su problema con inglés debe a ser descubierto letrado en español, yo recolecta.
Dígame: por qué, en un mundo real multicultural, usted querría hacer cumplir provincialismo en esto digitalizó el ideal uno?
arjenanders, your article is interesting (the strategic point about empowering a neighbor, i.e.), but sadly, your public talks and understand much better in spanish. Writing articles is nice if you have the chance to get some feedback from your readers. You can publish the article in both languages easily, using traslators or asking someone to do the jod for you.
Ernest is right, many people doesnt speak english and you dont spak spanish as well. So, we'll never be able to discuss 😁
And yet Barbak's chattin' away like a virgin on Prom Night in English...
