Just a General Lack of Responsibility

Day 3,263, 13:35 Published in Ireland United Kingdom by Hexshade

So, I lied. Well, I didn't lie as much as put off my responsibilities. I might not be good at much, but when something is unnecessary or takes time away from something important, you can damn well count on me to get it done.

So, here's the deets. I made, for myself, a schedule that I would follow regarding the publishing of articles. I told y'all what it was in the last article. I wanted to upload one every 5-7 days. Well, the first day went by. No article. The second day went by. Still no article. This cycle continues until day 5. Now, my plan was that having a window to upload would trick my brain into thinking the deadline was at day five so that I could do it using the power of, what I like to call, "Agonizing Last Minute Anxiety," while still having time in case I didn't finish. Well, it turns out, I was wrong. When day five rolled around, I said to myself, "I'll do it tomorrow."

So, here we are at thirteen days and I'm just now getting to it. And, to be honest, I'm kind of procrastinating with this very article. First off, I'm procrastinating having to write a real article about something legitimate by instead complaining about why I didn't write an article, and secondly I'm using this as a distraction from other more important things I should be doing. So, yeah. Here ya go. This is it.

Now, because this article needs more substance and fewer excuses, we are gonna end with some questions (because who doesn't love interactive articles). A get-to-know-your-neighbors sort of thing, if you will. So in the spirit of the article, How many of you identify as a procrastinator? If so, what do you normally turn to to avoid responsibilities? And for those of you who don't identify as such, I'd love to hear what you do to keep yourself on task all the time.
