I started my Friday meme article as a reaction to Karl 004's Friday memes. I'll admit, early on, that I was just trolling for attention, but the articles kinda took on a life of their own, and actually became something I looked forward to each and every Friday. The thrill is kinda gone now. The media has become littered with meme articles. Has the art of the meme lost its sparkle? I feel like what was once punk rock has devolved into catchy pop music. Everyone wants a quick fix. All style, no substance. That sorta thing. Maybe I just have a head cold and I am grouchy (stupid germy kids and back to school!). So dear friends, this may be the last of my Friday memes. Who knows, maybe the artist will find a new muse?

Karl004 memes were momentous.
Memes will always have a space here, after all, it is the internet.
However, indeed they are now mainstream media rather than a niche.
I am sure I'll meme from time to time. I am trying to figure out which medium to use to satirize eCanadian life. Long blog-like articles probably won't fly. So it's gonna have to be a combo of memes, gifs, videos, etc... We'll see what inspires me.
I like how you say there's to many meme's now that there at an all time low. Karl hasnt done them in months and i do about once a month. Just admit your lazy and dont have an imagination you f***in flaming faggot.
