How low can we go?

Day 703, 20:55 Published in Canada Canada by screamingslave

Today i was checking the job market to make sure i was paying my employee's fairly. For the first time ever i found i was vastly over paying my employee's.

I cant believe a skill 4 land job wage has dropped from an average of 8 to 9 dollars a day down to a highest offer of 6.8 a day. This is a wage that was once not even good enough to attract a skill 3 worker with 70 wellness living in a non hospital region!

This leaves me wondering has the bubble burst?

if so what do we do next?

Maybe more importantly, how low can we go?

What happens to companies and employee's when we cant go any lower? when the economy deflates to the point where a skill 3 employee makes minimum wage?

it does not help anybody to have cheap goods if our employee's make no wages.

Is this the future of our economy?

I'm not trying to scare people, i'm just not sure what we can do. with goods being produced faster than they can be consumed it leaves me wondering.

Is the only solution a change to the game mechanics?

is this guy our only hope?

normally i have some great solution to the problem i write about but today i'm looking for your thoughts, your ideas.

So please, canadians:

and lets try and fix this!
