Guess Who's Back?

Day 946, 08:00 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Jake Pearlshire

PEARLSHIRE'S BACK!

Dear readers, voters, and opposing candidates

My name is Jake Pearlshire (of course) and I've been a citizen in the eUK for a while, and even longer as a member of the eRepublik community. I was born in Moscow Region in January 2009, and given the time, I have been able to test out several different countries in eRepublik, and as a final decision about a year ago, I decided eUK was the place for me. Since then, I have become an active player in the life of British eRepublik on the forums, and for two terms, I served as a member of parliament/congressman for North East of England

North East of England – what I plan to do with it:

The North East of England is obviously not as active as it could be, because we are still all living in London. The late arrival of V2 screwed us over, given the fact that we still haven’t built improvements in our other regions. This has left us a dead region in the North East. Attempting to revive the North East community, the North East Council was reborn and had its days for a short time. It had no long-term purpose in the circumstance the North East was in at the moment, a dead, inactive region. Now that we are certain V2’s time is approaching, we can hope that improvements will be built in regions in eUK besides London. I plan to promote activity in the North East of England by reviving the North East Council and putting it to use. This will grant frequent communication between the state and the people, especially those who interact in game rather than on the forums.

My Political Views and Political Party:

For those of you that don't know, I'm a member of The Unity Party, a political party that overall matches my political views, and here is the party's manifesto if you want more information. I consider myself to be a democratic socialist. I believe that the people should have their voices heard, and that my job is to get your voices out, and to not use my job as a way to exercise my views for my benefit. As far as economy, I believe in a capitalist system for smaller businesses, but larger businesses require a lot of government regulation so that people don't get too rich. As far as society goes, I believe that everyone should receive basic human rights, such as free speech, education, yada yada yada.... you get the point.

Well Good luck to my opponents, and voters, please consider me, Jake Pearlshire for your choice in the elections, on Friday, 25th of June.

Thank you,

Jake Pearlshire
