Giants Walk Amongst Us

Day 2,216, 23:10 Published in Canada Canada by Bryan Alexander

Formed on day 1829 of the eWorld, Cordis Die began with very humble beginnings. It was a MU formed around the idea that there could exist a group of players who fought not to win Battle Hero's, but - in the words of several members - fight to win the battles themselves.

Cordis Die has grown substantially over the past year, drawing in well known and respected players from not just eCanada, but from other locations as well based on a sense of camaraderie, focus, and determination to push the wall in whatever battle we are facing.

Steadily, Cordis Die has risen to become the premier MU in eCanada in terms of overall damage, and even rivals that of Captains of Industry for kill count.

Our 36 members are able to put up some serious numbers, and I for one feel that we don't celebrate the successes as much as we should.

Therefore, today, on Day 2216 I would like to extol the virtues of Cordis Die; not only to show that a small country such as eCanada can walk with the big boys, but to acknowledge those who I feel deserve recognition.

As of writing this article, Cordis Die has amassed just shy of 5.2 billion points of damage for the weekly challenge. Of that, Cordis Die was able to put out 1.6 billion damage yesterday (Day 2215) alone.

To put 1.6 billion damage into perspective:

-> This accounted for 55% of the damage of the whole country.

-> It put Cordis Die into 25th place globally in terms of daily influence. This puts us ahead of other MU's known for their damage such as:

HKGolden (200 fighters - 20% of eChinese daily damage)
Terra Brasilis (183 fighters - 44% of eBrazilian daily damage)
Mobile Elite Korp (40 fighers - 67% of ePortuguese daily damage)
Wanhat Parrat Armeija (125 fighters, 59% of eFinnish daily damage)

-> Was just a few million damage behind Dark Side Wolves to be the top MU in all of North America for that day.

Furthermore, Cordis Die currently sits globally at #58 in terms of global rankings for overall damage when you factor in all MU's over the entire week.

All of this with only an average of 32 fighters each day!

So to all soldiers in Cordis Die...

I salute you all, fine Sirs!

Special Thanks:

-> Flashgun as well as InsaneSkillz for not only establishing Cordis Die, but building the infrastructure for supplies that support our efforts.
-> Umbra/Connor for essentially being a two man army
-> InsaneSkillz again for his constant feed shouts of "Cordis F*ckin Die!" which has begun an impromptu slogan.
-> TheCanadianPunk for holding the Captain's chair without fail.
-> Everyone else for being such a badass.
