Garth Lidlington Interview

Day 5,826, 18:45 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gavin C. Mister

Interview Time!

It is interveiw time again for me in the eUK, this turn around i chose to interview spam president Garth Lidlington, it was a pleasure interviewing him about matters over the party he leads, and i hope you will find them as interesting as i did

Question 1 Not to forget the last results of a CP election, how will you try to change that this time around?

We felt that the last election was a great result for us - drawing against other large parties is a testament to our message and could not have been done without the support of players across all parties. We are continuing to campaign for an active government and engaged playerbase, and hope that we can continue to convince more voters to back us in achieving it . The party has seen positive growth this month and I am optimistic for a decent outcome this time.

Question 2 What type of image do you portray for your party?

It's great to lead a party of people who are fun, passionate and love eRepublik, so in a sense the party speaks for itself without me needing to propagate an 'image'. Speaking for myself I always strive to bring level headedness and positivity to our interactions across the political and media modules and am pleased to see TRS members follow that example.

Question 3 What unique policy are you most keen on for people to associate with your party and yourself personally

We value democracy, and it is at the forefront of every policy we as a party champion. As such, our mission statement as a party perfectly sums up what TRS are about; a democratic, transparent congress and government structure. We feel all citizens should be well-informed of government and congress decision making as ultimately, it affects every single one of us. We also believe the Presidency and Congress should be actively engaged in epolitics and decision making so all players have a pathway to political activity.

Question 4 How difficult of a primary was it for the party, and for you to try and find a nominee?

The primary was not difficult at all. Every month I make sure that all party members have a chance to express their opinions and interests for the upcoming Country Presidential election. After discussing all the options, we felt as a party that the right decision was to appoint Beta as our candidate for the upcoming elections.

Question 5 I have decided to add a funny question to my interviews, do you have any phobia's? Personally i cant stand locusts theyre very creepy looking

I can’t stand snakes, why would you trust something that just wants to kill you?

Thank you!
