I am pleased to announce that I will be running for Congress on May 25th for Minnesota, under the EPIC banner, for the nCPF. The nCPF won this region last time out and I am confident we can win here again.

As an eRepublik player I consider myself loyal to my party no matter how rough it is but prefer pragmatism when in office and when dealing with the other parties. With the ironic exception of EPIC (have you fixed your forum yet?) I am active on all of the main party forums and believe in interparty cooperation, especially in Congress. I prefer being a Congressman over anything else in this game as it gives me the most realistic chance of helping eCanada to move in what I think is the best direction. Despite conflict with the Country President recently, Parliament/Congress in my mind should be a place for bipartisanship and cooperation, not just a place for members to yell and vote along with what their leaders tell them to do. Congress members should use their individuality to think for themselves and approach issues rationally. It is important to be creative and informed when we are faced with the challenges of today.

-I have been an active eRepublik player for over two years

-I am a five-term congressman and have been exclusively for Newfoundland and Labrador. Hopefully this time around I can come from a new region.

-I’m a two-time Party President and technically a former CP candidate as well.

-I am a former ambassador to Malaysia and Thailand and was a member of the predecessor to TCO; Bruck’s Canucks before I rejoined politics.

- I currently occupy myself on eRepublik with running a Raw Weapons Material company, reading articles, visiting forums and visiting IRC.

My goals for Congress this month is primarily to kill the saturation of the market due to overproduction and bring prices back up. I will support a lower minimum wage and will support more funding for different militias. I believe in normalizing our foreign policy and creating a blacklist of citizens who the community has deemed dangerous or mischievous. I will propose a congressional amendment regarding the Vice-Presidency. I also will support region swapping or trading to acquire certain resources.
