From In the Trenches - Pearlshire Reports

Day 816, 12:01 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Jake Pearlshire

Dear readers,

Reporting from the trenches themselves, this is Jake Pearlshire reporting the news on the field. I am currently residing in a bunker just outside of London, and I periodically go out and fight for PHOENIX out on the battlefields. To keep myself occupied doing things, such as reading news from all over the world, keeping myself up to date with the latest events, and socializing with other citizen-soldiers, defending the eUK. Everyday is the same old, same old. Fat yankees come in and try to take East Midlands or West Midlands, but fail to realize that being so big, they are so much of an easy target, I don't have to bother to aim. Also, every now and then a stupid eAmerican soldier reaches into a McDonalds bag while trying to fire a bazooka. I love those targets...

Anyway, I found that the trenches are a more comfortable atmosphere than I expected. The door is too small for any Americans to fit through, so we're all safe from the harm outside, when we're in here. I usually sit at TUP table in dining hall in the trenches, talking to Weiis, Woldy, Keers, and the rest of the gang. Recently we made a joint table with the PCP and I managed to socialize with more people like johnobrow, and Avlana Kiarunto. Every now and then I go to the large, round table in the middle of the dining hall, where people from all over the eUK socialize, debate, and talk about experiences back in their eLife. We usually joke around as well, bashing each other just for the fun, but realizing its nothing personal. It would be a great experience for people who find this game boring to join in this experience.

Avlana Kiarunto asked me: Will Poland become a massive superpower or will their population plummet in the next few weeks and lose the potential they had?

My answer: I was leaning towards the answer, "their population will plummet in the next few weeks and lose the potential they had", because many people who join this game usually stop playing after 2 weeks (that's what happened to the person who invited me to join this game a year ago). I was thinking that, until I saw the new economic module. Now I think, most of the poles are going to keep playing eRepublik, because the game is actually going to be more fun than before. But in response to this game being better, many more players from all over the world will also join in the game, because it's more fun. So that won't keep Poland in the lead for too long, and some other country will take the lead, hopefully.

Please send me through a message, a question for next week (I will answer every question I get), and have your name (if you don't want it there tell me) with your question featured in the next Pearlshire Official. In the comments, either comment on my article as a whole, or if you want to state your answer for Avlana, post "PW:" before your comment.

Lastly,
I know my picture for the People's Word isn't great (don't have the best editing skills), so I'm offering 1 gold to whoever makes the best picture for the People's Word, and I will give it when I get to Level 19, or when I get my hard worker medal (whichever comes first). So make a photobucket account (or another website where you can upload pictures), send me a link to your picture, and I will judge and see which one I like the best. Try putting a wolf or tiger in there (my 2 favourite animals). A good colour scheme will either be the one I have right now, or a purple and green color scheme (my 2 favourite colours). Good luck 😉

Please vote, comment, subscribe, and don't forget to send me a question

Thank you for reading,
