Long story short: The Clan Wolf Party President couldn't change the candidate for CP from myself as the place-holder to the player that both won the Clan Wolf preliminaries and earned a sincere shot at it, Corrigan Brown.
I’ve asked that Oinyo submit a ticket to the admins to see if they can change the candidate over to Corrigan in time for the election as we owe it to him to give him every chance we can. I suspect they will get around to that right when I fly my pig through the frozen gates of hell.
If we can’t get my name off the ballot I am asking everyone to NOT vote for me in the election tomorrow. I believe in the core principles of Clan Wolf to support up and coming players from any party. It’s time for players like Corrigan and all the other candidates for this election to take the wheel. New voices bring a much needed diversity to the game else the game gets stale and we as a nation get stuck in a swirl of bitter resentment and ongoing feuds.
We have a lot of really good candidates this term and I’m excited for tomorrow’s election. Vote for who you think will make the best CP, just so long as you remember to VOTE.
Addendum: My thanks to those smarter than I who pointed out I could be removed from the ballet by leaving the party. Now that I am no longer a candidate I wish everyone running for CP good luck. o7

Sucks that this game has weird deadlines and such, same with Captains for MU's. Hope the best for your party, but lets see how many 2 clickers follow these instructions guys 😛

those that don't know game mechanics shouldn't be allowed to run for PP... candidates get locked in at exactly the same time every month!

Best solution would be to create a party charter so that all members know what to expect from month to month and will hold each Party President accountable to follow pre-set preliminaries.
I know that if Clan Wolf had a clear list of dates when candidates had to be chosen by, then I would have sent Oinyo a friendly reminder when I voted last night. As it is now, I got no idea when things will be done or when they need to be done.
The information is readily available... The eRep wiki is a goldmine of information...
If Clan Wolf are the party of the 'new player', then they have failed you my friend. I would seek a party that educates.

This has happened many times in Clan Wolf history, that to me says negligence from leadership.

I was not in town and the mobile version was bugged. Also. If CW ever wants me to step down they only need to ask. i am here for them.. They now and always had 100% choice in how the party was run and they know I am human and will mess up from time to time 😛
They know nothing else but you so they will always vote for you. If you have an attitude like that you will be PP for the rest of your eLife. If you feel responsible for your party you should make sure others run as PP. it's unhealthy to have the same leader.
Stop running for PP, its that simple.
My people are not idiots and the active ones have their voice. If they come to me to let someone else to take the reigns then I will.
I didnt fall into this position because the players had lack of choice and I dot sit idle every day in this chair.. There is a reason we are second now and there is a reason CW is the most stable of all parties in number count.

From what I understand Corrigan Brown won the Clan Wolf Primaries. When the head Candidate in Clan Wolf's primaries is unable to run (in this case due to game mechanics (thanks again Plato (/me shakes fist at Plato))) then the endorsement goes to the runner up. From what I also understand I was the runner up in Clan Wolf's Primaries...therefore (and correct me if I'm wrong) but doesn't Clan Wolf Endorse IBB4CP now?

Not mechanically Endorse, but an article and some PMs would more than do the trick.

Is that like a best guess at what should be done, or was something like that already established in Clan Wolf Code?
Seems like I am finding out about these rules after the fact. It's like stumbling through a minefield with a fisher-price metal detector. Exciting but messy.
Why not put a new Clan Wolf Code forward to your party?

I'm still trying to extract my head from my ass with the current Flat 5% tax proposal and survey I am working on. (tbh, it is less extreme than what DMV is now proposing ~ Flat 1😵.
If I can manage to not screw this current one up, then maybe I'll have the confidence to make that charter proposal too.

1% could do good things in the short term with regards to keeping cash in player accounts and allowing people to recoup. But it would seriously hamper any growth and the limit of MPP's without haemorrhaging cash from country accounts.
5% could maybe work for a country your size in the long term. All depends on the outgoings you guys decide.
Charters are easy to write, just give 'freedom to play' and play the game by the mechanics. Everything else is just fluffy nonsense.
That was at least my understanding of Clan Wolf's Primary "Mechanics" (for lack of a better word).

You knew you were gonna be out of town. You knew Foxfire wasn't running, and you knew that you couldn't pick a candidate from your phone.
Ignorance is no excuse, but knowing you weren't gonna be able to do your job and not making arrangements to get it done without you is a different story all together.

Most likely. lol It is no hidden fact that I am not able to be on every second or odd weekend due to being in the military or when I am at the cottage with my family.
If something falls on the weekend I tend to miss it or be unable to change it.
I was hoping that would change with my new phone that has the ability to browse the internet.. but alas.. Some of the buttons were non functional on it and I got home after the locked date 3 days before the elections.
I dont get the end goal here. I screwed up, apologized and we moved on.
Are things that boring that people have to blow this up to the moon? Just move on and be happy with the knowledge CW is now holding its prelims mid month instead of end of month.
Then don't be PP, advise a new PP...
