First impressions and game mechanics

Yes i have an old account but i just started playing. i was very discouraged when i first started it was slow going not much to do everyday. i made some expensive mistakes purchased a factory and i think i accidentally sold it. it was taking forever to make the money back and i felt i had no one to turn to so i quit.
Fast forward to about a month ago i got back on it was a whim. started having conversations with people that have been playing alot more than myself. found a whole back-end to the game and almost unlimited help to get me started. dont know if it was there when i first started or not it may have been harder to find.
The whole point of this article is to give credit to the people of the game who spend time employing everyone making all of our goods and services and supplying the market with a plethora of products. i would like to propose an additional Achievement. there are 8 fighting or war Achievements 3 or so political Achievements 1 media and 3 various Achievements.
In my opinion this is very out of balance how are you going to fight a war without supplies. we should try and come up with an Achievement that will award our builders factory managers have more than 5 factory's... more than 10 employees...ect. sell your factory's buy five more so on and so forth.
Please everyone consider what if you did not need the governments help to play the game. imagine if your first mission was to build a factory for food or weapons and you did not need to buy food or weapons or reach out to the government this is self sufficiency. Yes i know these are revolutionary ideas but ones i feel important for future generations to prosper.

Welcome (back) to the game!
Economics is a wonderful part of the game. It is overlooked, unfortunately. Most people consider it to be a "war game". I don't know why...
Gnilraps wrote about bringing back work skill, of coarse i was in the game when that did not exist, but that would intrigue me
I don't have all the exact numbers, but I think it takes at least a year to see return on investment for companies. And that's if you're doing everything right.
Better to put your gold towards upgrading training grounds.
consider this, aside from strict dollar return on investment.
you employ people-- they now have money to spend on food and weapons.
you produce products, and sell them to people to use in their daily fights.
if you set up Food Raws and Food Companies, you can feed yourself cheaper at WAM than buying the goods.
if you feed yourself, your Military Unit will supply weapons so you can fight.
it all churns the economy.
how much good might you do for yourself and others during that year of strict return on investment? how much will you contribute to the community?
Good points!
Welcome back to hell lol
welcome
No thanks to even more overproduction. Good effort though.
Welcome back!
