After two months as your President, I now hand over to Huey George, whose return to the role will be widely celebrated. Congratulations, Huey, on your victory!
I take this opportunity to thank all the members of my Cabinet and those who have stood by me during a difficult but successful two months.
We have achieved much during this time, including a complete reset of our training war arrangements in our core regions, with adjustments in other areas. We have reasserted our control of the destiny of all our core regions, leaving no exceptions.
My own focus moving forward will be on building up the strength of our citizenry and you can expect some articles and advice for citizens.
At this point I call for everyone to get behind Huey George as he returns to the presidency and to be active in every aspect of eRepublik life. This includes, most importantly, fighting to guarantee our security and building up individual rank and strength. Our biggest fighters often feel left out of public life, despite doing the heavy lifting, while the loudest noises are made by players with little military experience. To those tanks, I salute you and acknowledge your efforts!
Let us all move forward together for a stronger eUK!

You cannot take credit for that or call it a success of your CP term when you called us all traitors for starting the RW.
The best part of this article is welcoming Huey George who has been one man running this government all month anyway.
No time for your pent up hate here. I DO take credit for the restoration of our formal control of the region in question. We found a way out of the terrible situation that your friends tired to create.
You called us traitors and lucked your way into a positive situation. In my term Armenia had said they would support us taking it back. You warned us that Ireland would invade Scotland. None of that’s happened.
You got lucky. No question 😂
At most you get partial credit. Because if it wasn't for what 10 members of the game did, not an entire party, you wouldn't have even had the opportunity since you were refusing to talk about it.

But oh well, eUK wants to go back to just the same old same old. Why bother with elections when what we have instead is an elected dictatorship? I wish the old guard would just go through the honest process of installing Huey as dictator and then we can end the sham.

I'm glad to see 'self congratulation' acknowledged as a staple of political discourse. For too long have members of the cabal tried to suggest this sort of thing is taboo when it's just a welcome step towards open conversations on what has or hasn't been achieved over a period of time.
