EZC Using Ingame Chatroom for Resource Wars

Day 4,708, 13:41 Published in USA USA by Gnilraps

CURRAHEE!

Resource Wars have begun, and so we engage in the most economically important military operation we have seen since the last Resource Wars.

Our Government has set up its main operations on Discord and Telegram. This makes sense for several reasons.

The status of every single wall in every single division in every single campaign is mission critical every single minute. In other words none of the ingame shout feeds (National, Friends, MU, Party) offer the capacity to communicate information on an up-to-the-minute basis. Due to the mechanics of Resource Wars, it is often necessary to flip walls several times in the course of several minutes on multiple fronts. If you still think that you can participate in Resource Wars by following the shout feeds, you don’t understand Resource Wars.

If you are not clear about all of this, the following section of this article will cover a few basics. Read it, and I am sure you will understand how important it is that we have as many fighters tapped into a platform which provides INSTANTANEOUS information. In the section that follows, I will detail what Easy Company is doing to help eUSA secure its resources.

First: This is a really big deal. We don’t know exactly how big it is, actually. Because what we do know is that there are changes coming to the economy. We know that the Air Weapon industry is about to grow, for instance. We don’t know, however, if it will be possible to Work As Manager in that industry. (If so, it becomes a coveted industry!) And we can only hope that they will not remove Work As Manager from the Ground Weapon industry. That would suck for us, because we have prioritized Food and Ground Weapons as our national economic interests.

Secon😛 We are not the only nation competing for Food and Ground Weapons. Captain Obvious checking in, I know. But we should also remind ourselves that we are still the 9th (or so) most powerful nation in this game. That’s actually a decent position to secure what we want. For instance, there are 13 instances of Rubber (the Very Rare Ground Weapons resource) available. So even if we lose a few races for Rubber to nations which are stronger than we, there is enough Rubber to go around. If we don’t score full bonuses in Ground Weapons and Food, it will be our own fault.

Third : Competing for a resource is a mad scramble. Plato releases a resource at a very specific moment. If you don’t quite understand why yet, click on the Resource Wars graphic on your home page, then click the “Resource Pool” button at the bottom of the graphic. Notice that each upcoming resource is on its own timer. When the timer expires, it is awarded to the first nation which 1. Has prioritized it, and 2. Hits the 30K mark in terms of Domination points.

Here’s how that second point works. As each minute expires, Domination points are awarded to whichever nation is winning in each division in each battle. Those domination points accumulate as always. 10 domination points are awarded every minute for the first 30 minutes of the battle to the side having more than 50% domination, 20 points for the next 30 minutes, 30 points for the next 30 minutes and 60 points for the last 30 minutes. So for resource wars, eUSA accumulates Domination Points on a per-minute basis based on which divisions/battles we are winning across all campaigns… each minute. And the goal is to accumulate exactly 30,000 at the precise moment the coveted resource releases (or sooner thereafter than anyone else). NOTE: once a nation hits 30,000, that counter resets and it begins again from 0, so hitting it early is death.

All of this boils down to one thing. During the hour or so leading up to the release of a critical resource, it is to our advantage (as a nation) that as many of us be “on duty” as possible.

And that means we need to be available for “spur-of-the-moment” instructions. That is why our government has been pumping Discord and Telegram. These chat frameworks allow for rapid fire instructions to be issued without limitations.

But wait…

Plato has given us exactly that same thing…

Remember the ingame chatroom feature?

Resource Wars is the perfect opportunity to put that system to good work.

For the remainder of Resource Wars, Easy Company will be shouting up-to-the-second resource wars directives on its ingame chatroom so that any citizen who does not use Discord or Telegram can still participate in a successful operation.

If your Military Unit is not using its chatroom, and you cannot use Discord/TG, and you want to participate in Resource Wars, you are welcome to join Easy Company for the remainder of the month. By using our chatroom feature, you will be able to direct your energy where it is most needed at the exact moments it is needed. And when Resource Wars are over, you can return to your MU.

No hard feelings, no questions asked.

Tl; dr:

Easy Company will be supporting Resource Wars by utilizing its ingame chat room feature. We are doing this so that those who do not use Discord or Telegram can fully participate in helping eUSA score its precious resources. After Resource Wars are over, any guests who join us will be encouraged to return to their original MU.

CURRAHEE!!!

And I hope to see you in the EZC Chatroom.
