Last night 31 patriots went to the polls to cast their ballot for CP. TNS is disappointed to inform you the Legendary Tef1 fell a bit short of victory. A lit bit ago, Tef1 offered the following concession remarks.
Dear Fellow Patriots,
Before going any further, it is appropriate to congratulate, the current and future CP, his honorable, Emperor. His supporters also deserve congratulations.
A bit earlier, I had the unfortunate civil duty to DM, my offer opponent and future president with a congratulatory message.
Although, the route the President took to victory is not a model to be repeated by future aspirant of the office he holds, victory is victory and I lost. It is as simple as that.
I could not thank each and everyone of you enough for the message you sent last night. Although, we fell short, the message was loud and clear. The status quo is not working and there is a need for a fundamental change in our eCapital.
Last night, patriots, we made history. Yesterday's CP elections was the closest election outcome to ever be recorded in the history of our glorious eNation.
I want to thank all the patriots who put their eCountry's future ahead of the wishes of their Party leaders. Tef1 was not the establishment candidate, but man, did we send a clear message?
Because of the establishment's tight grab to power, Tef1 was not endorsed by any party. The establishment threw everything they could to defeat him. They succeeded. It must have been a long day for them though.
All this is thanks to you......The true patriots of our eNation and I am thankful to you. Yes, we lost but we have put the establishment on notice. We are a force to be reckoned with.
I hope now that the most divisive election in the history of our eNation has ended, the President, as the duly elected leader of dear eNation, will choose to be a unifying force as supposed to the opposite.
Should he chose, unity over division, he will have a willing partner in me to improve our eNation's business. Should he chose to remain, in the divisive route he is currently at, however, the people will take charge and we will take our country back. The ball is now in his corner and I am hopeful, the President will do the right thing for eSwitzerland. We, the people of the eNation, demand nothing less of our leaders.
A message to my supports: Emperor was our political rival, not our enemy. Now that the election is over, I beg you to give the President some time to execute the promise he made to us all.
This is not to say, do not complain, when mistakes are made, in a democracy, dissent is vital part. But, opposing everything just for the sake of it is not right either.
To the President's supporters: I was and still am not your enemy. Yes we disagreed and I suppose that will remain in the future. Not everyone with whom you disagree with is your enemy. Please stop that assumption.
Yes, your candidate won. In a democracy, the majority rules but the minority also has rights. As such, I hope the President will consider all opinions before making decision regarding the future of our eNation. Lets not forget, today's majority, could be tomorrow's minority and clearly, no one would not want to be shut down in their future's decision making.

I am reading a verdict! unbelievable!
Creating a Court of Justice to judge previous events does not follow a criterion of justice precisely.
Creating an ad hoc court for a specific case makes it as illegitimate as the alleged treason it is trying to impute.
The president has been elected by a party that has changed the form of government of Switzerland in violation of the Constitution, and every institution or body of government of justice lacks legitimacy.
In addition, any sentence that does not offer the possibility of appeal is vitiated by absolute nullity.
The principles of legitimate defense in a judicial process are violated; the principle and guarantee of the constitutionalism of a previous law with a natural Judge do not exist here. The ad hoc creation of a justice administration body for a specific case violates the principle of criminalizing facts and not persons. And being a creation of a party that has changed the form of government without modifying the constitution makes the sentence void. In addition, a justice with a Court without a cassation is procedurally illegitimate. There is no firm verdict, and therefore he is innocent of the charges against him.

I am intrigued if the new Court of Justice will accuse and judge the president because he granted a 200k credit to himself without permission from Congress, failed to comply with the term that was illegitimately fixed, and still owes part of the credit since February. And of course he did not put interests! During the presidency of Buctu he made diplomatic efforts for which he was not authorized because he had resigned and did not follow the diplomatic policy of the government. That will be the cause of another judicial cause?

I can not ask Rican to unlock you because I honestly do not want to talk to him. I can not believe what he is doing. He would have to declare that the Court is a farce, that he is wrong, and that "tef1" is innocent because of a null process. That requires a lot of humility. If that Rican appears, he will surely unlock you.

as with tef1's actions, we will also address the emperor's old actions, where he stole 200k from the congress (he stated that he has repayed it back now, but i will ask for more details, and if this is true, before i confirm or debunk this case), while i also know very well of the emperor's lust for power, and the way he (unfairly) insults his political opponents.
i could even mention how the emperor tried to sabotage MY goverment/cabinet during my tenure, but that would be petty, and i would seem silly/biased.
also i am very well aware that the emperor had made diplomatic efforts for which he was not authorized because he had resigned, and all during tim buctu's presidency, but tim buctu told us to forgive him for this action. (i am still writting it down for posterity, for the emperors old/various actions have been very bad and quite disturbing, as i've always said).
for the time being, the emperor runs the country well, and we've got our regions/congress/goverment back thanks to his negotiation+his treaty with the argentinians.
i dont like the emperor's old actions+his awful behavior, but i am a fair man, and i will give credit where its due: he ruled us well during the previous/this month.
if the emperor will betray us in the near future, i will be the first person to hold him accountable for his crimes.
and me, rican, sheldon, tim buctu, liakouris, vincent rekdal will be standing there, ready to punish him and any traitor for his actions.

The evidence provided can not be considered for the procedural reasons invoked; The president of the Court during the election act made an article asking to vote in the precidential elections in favor of the complainant (hours later he deleted it). The same with other members who advanced even before the formation of the court their prejudgment that tef1 was guilty. And that is not justice!
Suppose for a moment that the message of tef1 existed. There is no prior law, and also the president did the same in the government of Buctu and during the creation of Chris's alliance, and explicitly. Violating the private correspondence of a player who does not violate any law of Switzerland, nor of the terms of conditions of erepublik is a disvaluable conduct attributable to the "Federal Court" and not to its supposed author.

first of all, this was a fair court, composed by the best and most trusted people of switzerland.
(im not the best, but i always try to be fair with everyone, and my presense in the court showed that).

I would like to give few remarks about the case as an answer to Mr. Horatio Van Arsdale.
The first evidences of possible treason was brought to us in Swiss Congress, which created a lots of dust between fellow congressmen. They all started to ask questions. Mr tef1 started immediately spam the media about his innocence and how everything was fixed by the Emperor. Just a reminder that at the time tef1 was fired from the Government and he left ARS in order to get himself a party to be his platform for Swiss CP elections. After a long time of accusations from both sides I have decided to form a new institution "Supreme Court" and I gave nominees to the Congress to select them. Mr. Tef1 refused to have chris jonadicus as a judge so he was appointed to be a Prosecutor in the case. Since the Congress approved this new institution then it is completely legal do operate within the limits set by Congress. Fellow judges were all a long respected citizens of eSwitzerland and Emperor was not even involved in the process. Tef1 accepted to be judged by this court, so claiming that the sentence the court gave him is invalid is complete misinterpretation and not being familiar with all the facts involved.
As for Rican's article about elections. There have been no law broken there. Day before elections tef1 was found guilty of his crimes and Swiss public knew nothing about it yet. We were still talking by then about the punishment and how strict the sentence should be but in order to prevent a convict to step in office Rican had to publish that article. Furthermore, Rican supported Emperor with his party SFP prior to any controversy with this case.
As for alleged crimes that Emperor committed goes . I invite you to show me the evidences of this crime and I'll propose another Supreme Court case and he'll be judged upon the matter.

Rican interfered before the fake court threw the unjust so called verdict effectively eliminating himself and his comrades from continuing the fake whitch hunt. It is not only him, Tim was in his side. Chris........It was too obvious he is unfair judge. I demanded he not be a judge and you gave him a promotion and ask him to prosecute me. I have no obligation to be fair, it is an obligation of the judges. If a judge or several before manifest their prejudgment the verdict is invalid.
When you sign as king you should change the constitution sooner. Doing so renders the arguments you express illegitimate.
The ad hoc courts mentioned above are sufficient reason to prove absolute nullity.
The debt of emperor is accepted by the accused, and was demanded by the congress. The acts of government do not need to be tested by the individuals, they give faith in themselves.
The acceptance or not of tef1 does not have validity, since it reflects the weak part of the process. That reminds us of the "hammer of the witches", inquisitorial manual.

Pardon me for asking, but who are you even? I guess you used to play for eSwitzerland but now you are an Israeli so you have no place interfering in Swiss domestic politics. Don't think I'll be easily baffled by your latin phrases. I ain't gonna be lawyered. Everything regarding this case was completely legal and done according to law. Congress is the highest legislative assembly in Switzerland and they appointed the judges and agreed to start a Supreme Court. The reason that wasn't in Constitution is simply no need for it since we didn't have such a treacherous act since Shaolins time.Tef1 accepted to be judged by this court and had every chance to prove his innocence. He just went to conspiracy theories and cheap populism while chris as State Prosecturo gave valid evidences of his treason. If you want I can show you a complete transcript of the trial.

The congress can not create an organ of another power, because that power is part of the constituent power. Creating a Court for a specific previous case does not follow a criterion of justice. Nor that they integrate congressmen.
People may be innocent or guilty, but you ruin the possibility of proving someone's guilt, and perhaps very rightly, if you create a specific court later, and with members who have a verdict in advance.
You can create courts of justice by modifying the constitution and to judge subsequent events. But you can not be judges who make the law .... Those are basic things, you do not need to be a lawyer. It is only necessary to reason a little without censorship or animosity of revenge, but with encouragement to impart justice. @horatio: when i was appointed as the chief prosecutor of the swiss court, i wasnt chosen for my rank, but for my spherical view of the whole situation.
everything was a mess, and even before the court started, i've found many pieces of disturbing evidence regarding tef1's actions against switzerland.
and even i presented those screenshots+files of evidence to the court, i asked them to view everything carefully, to present pieces of evidence (either of tef1's innocence or guilt, or of his other actions), and to treat tef1 with respect, kindness, and with mercy, if the verdict would be a condemning one.
almost everyone in the court brought even more evidence of tef1's treason VS switzerland (to the argentinian CP, no less!), and when it came for tef1's defence, he didnt provide any evidence of his innocence, or any other ''concrete'' report of his actions, and if/why he was falsely accused by the emperor.
he didnt provide any evidence, and he only relied on his rhetorics about being ''cool'' and ''innocent''.
now, i know that the emperor is a quite troublesome person, but alas, he ruled us well during his tenure as our CP, despite my worst fears about him being in power.
so, i cant refuse what happened, and i shall give credit where its due:
the emperor, ruled us well during the previous month, and he even secured a deal with argentina, in the form of a TW war, where they would leave us keep our regions+we would get our congress back, in return for some CC's/taxes as a payment, according to the swiss-argentinian agreement that was signed by both countries.
also, the reason as to why such emergency swiss courts like this werent summoned before, is simple: just like sheldon said above, its because we didn't have such a treacherous act since ''Shaolins'' time.
and most of the court consisted by trustworthy people of the swiss community:
rican (the best hero+legend of switzerland), tim buctu (our fair friend), liakouris (also a fair person), sheldon (a good old swiss player+a friend), and vincent rekdal, who was also a good friend and a skilled player in the game.
of all the people who condemned tef1's treason and asked for the most harsh punishments for him, it was me who shouted to show mercy to tef1.
and as i asked for mercy, it was tim buctu and liakouris who also agreed on showing mercy to mr tef1.
so, you can call us anything you want, but we were fair, and we served justice during those harsh times.

You can be a great leader and a shady one at the same time. Not that I am agreeing he has been a great leader. It took almost extra 4 days to get the argentinians to leave after the signed agreement of July 4. That is not leadership in my view.
A prosecutor is not a member of the court. And you have the function of "accusing".
An emergency court is a spawn. Judgments are evaluated by their procedure and by their content. The supposed merits of the people who integrate it do not matter. a judicial system without cassation is a monster, because they can be wrong, and in fact they were wrong.
Hopefully you can build a fair and credible system. Justice does not come with a patch or a shortcut. Emergencies can not be the cause for irrational haste.
I wish you can reason without vehemence and with clarity and that you can build a legitimate system of justice. The legislative power can not create the judicial power, the constituent convention does.
I reiterate all my previous arguments. If you take something valuable, it will be magnificent, and if not, you will continue in your paths of institutional virtuosity.

What a magnificent simulation is erepublik! I remember a movie: "The Lord of the Flies" or something like that ... when the obfuscation does not allow listening to others, and they are degraded to "things". Not being able to hear a person's defense is very primitive. Fallacies (reasoning errors) are forbidden when you litigate in court /
How interesting is this tef1 phenomenon! When politics is involved with justice, it disappears. Justice can not be called "domestic politics"! Can you see the magnitude of this tef1?
And the beautiful constitution of Switzerland? What happens with the original constituent power and the derivative, the laws of necessity of reforms (that nucleus of basic coincidences) that bases the pillars of prospective intitutionality ... everything is repealed in the dull caprice.
How many honorable people who were dragged to make mistakes! And these are basic things! In fact, emergency courts are characteristics of countries that do not have the rule of law! Does the excuse of the emergency invalidate the Constitution and the very important division of powers? It's fascinating! And not even the authors of the beautiful Swiss Constitution see it!
