CP Re-election Manifesto and Cabinet

Fellow citizens
After a month as your President, I am seeking re-election to continue the government’s program of recovery and consolidation.
We have looked into the economic welfare of players and provided advice for those seeking to survive and become self-sufficient. We have maintained and refreshed our Training War arrangements and are now commencing a program of determination resets to preserve our effective partnerships. The hoary old question of Northern Ireland that surfaced during the term has been put to bed once again and our priority of protecting our citizens’ interests in Scotland has been maintained.
The government will continue to monitor the situation in Northern Ireland and will work with our TW partners to protect our interests in the region.
Issues that arose during the month were addressed and I have attempted to put relations with Congress on a more even keel. Part of this has been my commitment as Country President to remain aloof from purely in-house Congress business, as distinct from in-game matters. I thank the Congress for acknowledging my commitment in this regard.
It has become clear that no one sectional interest has priority in our community. No one represents the national polity on their own account. We have people who favour the political module, as well as the strong military players and the large business owners who have their own priorities. All of these matter greatly and each of them contribute to the national welfare. Our national tanks cooperate with other citizens by their forbearance in the medal runs that are protected and rewarded by government programs for less powerful players. Our business owners provide the tax revenue for the economy, through working as manager and the work tax for their employees. Our fighters keep us safe and contribute to the economy through their purchases of weapons or the taxes generated in producing their own supplies. Those in the political module do the work to keep the country functioning.
When considering what has to be done by the government, there is first the twice daily routine of keeping track of our military activity, ensuring that the training war attacks are launched and priorities are set. We also keep inn regular contact with our TW partners. Then the government engages in constant activity in the Cabinet room, keeping across the other areas of activity, including liaison with Congress and overseeing programs such as education and the bounty/military rewards systems. All of these are already transparent and communicated to the public.
It is clear that far too many of our players are at a relatively low level and this does not represent great fighting strength. Players need assistance to improve their fighting ability as it is a long slow road to greater strength without that. To gain rank, you need to fight. To fight well, you need to build strength. Priority should go to enhancing training facilities and encouraging players to do the fighting that results in the higher hitting power with greater rank. This is of equal importance with maintaining players' economic welfare.
To assist me in continuing our work, I have selected the following Cabinet and Ministry for the next term:
CP: wingfield
VcP/PM THE EMPRAH – a former CP and very experienced player, with impressive military credentials
Governor Huey George – Huey returns to his preferred role and will continue as our Minister of Finance and guardian of all matters financial.
MoD Sir Humphrey Appleby – I have asked Sir Humphrey to move to Defence, to work with our most experienced tanks in keeping us all safe.
MoFA: Gavin C. Mister – Gavin will continue as our chief diplomat and build on the contacts he has made this term. He is still working to secure an additional Training War, once the complexities of a three-way arrangement are ironed out.
MoE Prince William I – I welcome Prince William to the government and have entrusted him with the Education portfolio, looking to see some now programs generated, particularly those aimed and strengthening our existing citizen base and promoting level advancement and striking power. Having the leader of the newly reorganised party in Congress is a firm statement of national unity.
In Health, Select28 will continue to assist citizens starting out and seeking to remain active and healthy.
For Entertainment, Darkmantle has volunteered to be Minister of Entertainment.
eerte will continue to assist Gavin C. Mister in the Foreign Affairs portfolio.
I look forward to serving you all for another term.

Stability and continuity, together with progress for the community.
"The hoary old question of Northern Ireland that surfaced during the term has been put to bed once again"
What was the exact outcome on this?
Refer my mid-term report in the official newspaper.
So the answer to the question is "we are doing nothing" i was hoping with some new blood in the CP seat the euk would actually wake up. But i guess bad habits are hard to shift.
Perhaps what you call doing nothing is far better than a hysterical reaction to a situation where we have made the best of the available options, preserved our TW arrangements and protected our citizens in Scotland. If that is doing nothing it is a considerable achievement. Did you want Ireland frothing at the mouth and pestering its allies to invade us? We managed a situation responsibly while others were calling for drastic and dangerous action.
Please do elaborate how diplomatic solution to the NI problem will threaten our citizens in Scotland? I guess nobody wants to mess with Taiwan, so what's the problem? That Taiwan will go away from Scotland? Or what
Any reaction would be better than this handwaving attempt to ignore settling an hostile invasion. Why is it always extremes in this discusion its either we do nothing or start WW7. There are many opitions to us between them. but i am starting to feel the total lack of awareness of the current geopolitical status is making the current government drag its feet. So its either lethargy or ignorance to deal with the euk issues and i am not sure which is worse
I cant see anything about Northern Ireland in Betafoxtrot campaign?
No because he hasnt came out and said the question has been "put to bed" when it obviously hasnt been dealt with.
Also he hasnt been in power so Betafoxtrot doesnt have any way of making the government actually do anything. He did write a well thought out article about the situation but thats all he can do from outside the current government.
Regarding NI, it is not 'hysterical' to push for the eUK being the recognised authority over the region. Neither is it antagonistic or likely to start a war. The talks held toward the end of AMD's term were to establish this, and by the time he left office the discussion was of blanket access to training wars facilitated by the third party occupying it. To retreat from the position of the eUK being the recognised authority is a step back towards the region being 'informally eIrish', as eIreland's MoFA had understood it to be two months ago. I caught up with Gavin about NI when the discussion was ongoing in Congress and he said that his understanding of the current deal was that the UK would pay Ireland 100k to rent it from them, he didn't think it was worth the benefits of holding the region. I am not sure if he had been told NI was an eUK core region. It sounds quite different from the discussion AMD's government was having. Either all Congress discussions ended when a member of the Gov triggered multiple speaker elections, so it's probably not accurate to say it is put to bed in everyone's mind. I can't find a reference to the offer Gavin described in the mid term report so I don't know if what I was told was incorrect, but I hope the cabinet and the public can be fully appraised of whatever discussions have gone on in relation to NI so that Congress can continue understand the situation.
either way all*

Huh? I was told my application was rejected by your current vCP.
Sorted
WF and I talked, we sorted out what happened. Thanks.
Having read your manifesto I do have one question - What are your policies for next month?
