Continue the Path we have taken

Day 5,159, 07:08 Published in Japan Japan by Fyreous

Fellow Citizens of Japan!

I hope all of you enjoyed your holidays and/or new year celebrations!

First off, I want to applaud Masaharu Homma for the past two terms he served as our countries president. He has done an amazing job as Japan's CP in his terms. With his tireless efforts, he grew the state's funds by more than 4 million cc. Even when we had only a few training war battles due to Code and Asteria operations, which resulted in short term pauses with some of our partners, he kept a level headed mindset and it was an honour to work with him as his MoFA to find solutions to this problem.

I have to say: Thank you Masaharu! Thank you for the effort and the sacrifices you were willing to take to make Japan a better place!

I want to make clear that running for CP is not something I do lightly. The CP is the best or the worst position in the government - either you swim or you drown. It will be tough for anyone to walk in Masaharu's footsteps, but I am willing to try my best to fill this position as it is required.

I have been contemplating the past few days what my agenda would be, which resulted in the plan to continue the path we have already taken. I want to ensure stability and fortify Japans position as a neutral nation. To further explain what I mean, I'd like to detail my thoughts to you.

• I want to keep the status quo and continue to ensure good operations with our current training war partners. We currently have 6 TW's going on, which given the amount of our population, is more than sufficient.

• The JUDO-Program has proven to be the most effective way to reward our active citizens. I don't see any reason to change this - JUDO is here to stay.

• I do see possible ways of improvement in the MoE, given that we have several new players that are in need of further guidance to grow into strong and proud samurai soldiers. Which would also allow future governments to use and to build on the work I have in mind.

• Further government programs are possible but depend on the availability of funds. Which are plentiful due to Masaharu, but I don't want to waste the effort he made and rather aim for a surplus than a deficit. Hence any new idea for a new program will need to be carefully considered.

• I want to keep the established advisory committee with Darshu and IArhangeLLorDI as members, if they are willing. Even though we have not always agreed on matters, they were both willing to state their opinion, share their plentiful experience and spend their time on matters for Japan. Which is something that I highly appreciate!

If elected, I will follow up with another article after the elections about my cabinet.

Tennōheika Banzai!
天皇陛下万歳!
