CAF Update Numero UNO
Coda
Hello eCanada!
Today I bring to you the first of my many updates to come. The CAF has recently undergone through some major changes and I will be incorporating some of the relevant information here for the public.
The CAF is now divided into 4 categories. We are set up by 5 different branches Rangers, Infantry Force, Artillery Force, Air Force, and Tank Force. Each of these groups has a Superior Officer who looks over the entire branch. I will be announcing these commanders in a separate article.
For now I would like to call to your attention the NEW sign up docs.
Rangers:

The Rangers are composed of all 4 branches in one. They have specific platoons set up for people of different military classes. The Rangers are primarily used in defensive missions. The Rangers are supplied usually twice a week depending on the current situations with battles. They are the CAF's entrance division and best suited for new players.
If you would like to apply for the Rangers please sign up here.
Reserves:

The Reserves are set up in each class category. Each Branch has a Reserves section for its weapon type. Reserves are used in defensive home based missions only. They are not mobile and remain in Canada as the first line of defense and participate in missions from Canada only. The Reserves are supplied usually twice a week depending on the current situations with battles.
If you would like to apply for the Reserves please sign up here.
Mobile (Regulars):

The Mobiles (regulars) are divided based on their weapons class and are used in both defensive and offensive missions. This group is made up of the mobile soldiers that remain active in movement throughout the world. The Mobiles (regulars) are supplied for every mission and their supplies are based on their class, and mission.
If you would like to apply for the Mobiles (Regulars) please sign up here.
This concludes my first update about the CAF. Stay tuned for new information regarding the CAF.

Can you afford me, Canada? 😛
There is always some room for a cottus in the CAF 😉
😮
Imma confused. Why break the CAF into sections based on skills?
I understand supply-wise it would be a smart move, but battle-wise wouldn't it be more effective to evenly spread soldiers of different skill types into platoons so that they aren't as easily countered?
o7
nice pics
and if you havent joined.....why not?
We're open up for business again!
Join now, or I'll cut you!
nice. accept me in regulars.
"I understand supply-wise it would be a smart move, but battle-wise wouldn't it be more effective to evenly spread soldiers of different skill types into platoons so that they aren't as easily countered?"
with acceptable amounts of planning, this problem can be avoided. I think it's just more of a supply thing, along with being with people of the same class, bragging rights are easier 😛
The reserves, home of half of the congress of Canada. Go Reserves!
"I understand supply-wise it would be a smart move, but battle-wise wouldn't it be more effective to evenly spread soldiers of different skill types into platoons so that they aren't as easily countered? " It is almost impossible to get people online at the same time on a regular basis. They will figth in a combined force, but that is why we have officers above the platoon ranks.😁
also, are we ever getting the promotions for june/july article?
How about you dummies get your act together and provide some MoD orders already?
Or do you think people fighting in just any battle is a good national strategy?
Ummm, kippers. We are tanks. I prefer to roll them over.
