Boosting the Economy -- by Fighting!
Tom Medelsvensson
I have been honored by being voted in as your representative from Shikoku. I take my responsibilities very seriously, and I have been poring over our current economic situation.
We have but one high resource in Japan. Grain. Unfortunately for us, so does almost every other country. There is a glut of grain on the world market. Especially Q1. Same goes for food. Just look here: erep tools worldstock
One small first step we can take to enhance our meager competitive advantage is to boost our productivity. We do this by increasing our wellness. When one works their job with a high wellness, the amount of goods produced by your effort increases. Dramatically.
How do you increase wellness? Well, of course, in bizarroland, you increase your wellness by marching off to war and fighting! Our hospitals are only of use to a soldier that fights. So, go fight in the training war. You will go off to some place you never heard of and beat up some poor Latvian.
Here is a link to our current training war: go pummel some poor Latvian
Then after you get done fighting (do not fight below 40 wellness), exit the battlefield and go visit one of our many fine hospitals. We have Q5 hospitals in Hokkaido, Kanto and Kyushu. So, move to one of those regions if you can. After using the hospital, go work your job.
By fighting, and using a hospital, you strengthen yourself, get more experience points, be a more productive worker, and help our economy. You will also make yourself a better fighter for when the day comes that we actually need you to fight for our country.
Don't worry about that poor Latvian. He understands.
** note to company owners: I hope you use your email box to convey the importance of working at high wellness to your employees. Urge them to train, fight, heal, then work.
*** note to everyone: we need an Iron resource.

Good article. Recommended read.
I disagree that we need an iron resource. There are many ways to procure iron and unless we are able to somehow secure a high resource region we can't compete. There are those that say a medium can compete with a high but I'm not sure they fully understand the true advantage a high resource (a 50% productivity boost over medium) and how tremendously it affects productivity.
To the rest of the article I agree. Everyone pummel some Latvians!
